As far as I know if it was a straight scan to a .pdf there would not be any layers. It would be a flat image. Looks like somebody created this document and forgot to flatten it.
That doesn’t mean the information is false but I’m virtually certain this wasn’t a straight scan from the original.
I didn’t even have to see the document to know it was fake. good job taking it apart for all to see.
I note that TheSmokingGun.com has a comment post that asks why the name Barack Obama appears - shouldn’t it Barry Sotero. Anyone have a take on this? Was Obama Sr. still in the pic when Jr. was born or was the name supposed to be Barry Sotero?

This is going to get very interesting.
From what I’m hearing, Sean, Glenn and Rush are on the “forget about the BC” bandwagon. I don’t see how this can get legs without support from our own side?
This isn’t just a ‘could’ or ‘possible’ issue but common.
Here is some info on how/why .pdf scanned docs will have layers. There are two reasons, OCR- Optical Character Recognition and MRC- Mixed Raster Content. The former explains the text layers, the latter explains the image itself broken into layers as well as what some call the “white out” look. There are even image samples in the second link that are almost exact mirror images of that “white out” effect.

I suggest studying these before continuing this line of ‘proof’ regarding the layers.

I understand that a caller to Rush Limbaugh's show today said pretty much the same thing about the layered nature of the document.
Please recall as well that the earlier CERTIFICATIONS of Live Birth posted on pro-Obama web sites in 2008 were detected by Polarik to be layered as well. So we have different documents but similar techniques of fraud.

When I tried to copy the “Document” and paste into my Corel Photo-Paint, more than 80% of the document / information / data, disappears, (the information / data turns white) the only way was to do a screen shot(s) used Corel Capture (divided the document in 2) and stitch them together, now I know why I couldn’t just copy & paste.
