Friends of Lt. Col. Terry Lakin are hoping a few hundred people will show up to greet the jailed military doctor when he's released from prison and returns to Baltimore, Md., on May 14.
Dr. Terry Lakin, an Army doctor who refused to deploy again to Afghanistan when his chain of command refused to verify that Obama legitimately is president, has been serving a six-month term at Ft. Leavenworth in Kansas.
Be the first to get the new eligibility book signed by Jerome Corsi and help get TV commercials on the air to bust this issue wide open!
A website has been established to coordinate the welcome event, which convenes at 10:15 a.m. at the Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport. Organizers are asking supporters to preregister their planned attendance to coordinate with airport security and to come with small U.S. flags and homemade posters thanking Dr. Lakin for his stand.
"We need a big hurray and lots of applause," the website states. "He may say a few words. Then we'll get him to his luggage, to his car and home."
While in prison, Dr. Lakin remains under the Uniform Code of Military Justice but has been allowed to post online a series of observations he's made while serving his time. Those private communications to the Terry Lakin Action Fund suggest that his focus remains on the foundations of the nation and the rights and responsibilities of its citizens.
He's commented on the physical workouts he's enjoyed, his work, his cell and other issues, according to the action fund, which is the organization that has been raising money to pay the monthly bills for Lakin's family while he serves his term.
Lakin's support team said it has been able to supply donated funds for most needs during Lakin's absence.

On the internet, no one knows you’re a dog. You can make any claims you want. Your track record on FR is clear as a bell.
2009 signup date, 12 comments, pissing on a hero, and think a foreign born president is fine.
I rest my case.
You are a coward and a traitor.
This is not meant to be a slam, just curious...
Were either of you ever in the military?
I was never in the military, I am a woman and a teenager during the VN war.
I have read obsessively about Zero’s non-eligibility for almost 3 years on FR and almost every thread about Lt.Col Lakin I could find. To make the statement that he should be executed by firing squad is disgusting, and if you check smoothoperator’s comments - 12 - maybe now 13 - since 2009, plus the fact that he thinks a foreign born president - even Putin - would be a good idea, tells you everything you need to know about him. A lot of Zero hireling signed on in late 2009. Several good fistfuls of them have been banned, especially on the eligibility threads.
7 years active duty.
..and, when you gave orders, did your troops ask about the pedigree of anyone in the chain of command above you? If they did, how would you react?
Everything goes up the chain of command. As a platoon Sgt. I would have taken the issue to the 1stSgt. The chain of command ends in the commander-in-chief, where all legal authority to command derives. Currently there is no US military. Just an armed force operating under a Usurper.
No need. There are other, well established freepers saying similar things.
Really? OK.
So, you come to the 1st Sgt and say Pvt Lakin wants to see the COs college diploma before he'll accept my order to clean the latrine. What's the 1st Sgt going to do?
First Sgt probably would have walked him into the CO's office and pointed at the diploma on the wall and then put the private on KP duty. Although a college degree is not a requirement to command as far as I know. The company commander might have gone to OCS.
It IS a requirement that the commander-in-chief be a natural born Citizen.
Depends on your service. The Army requires a degree for a commission.
So, realistically, your gonna humor this trooper and let him question the authority of the NCOs and officers above him? Honestly...
That Lakin should be executed? Have you studied up on this issue? At all? I’ve seen well established freepers supporting him in vast numbers. Smoothoperator is a DNC operator, no doubt about it.
It would be my duty to take his complaint up the chain.
Fair enough. I think this is where the failure was in the Lakin case. AFAIK, he did ask for clarification and was not satisfied with the responses.
Yes.
Have you studied up on this issue?
Assuming that people disagree with only because they are ignorant is a dangerous practice. I spent nearly 30 years in the military and retired as a LTC. My last assignment was at the Pentagon...
Hey slimeball, did you serve your country?
A coward who received a commendation for bravery. I beg to differ.
I doubt you served a single day.
what??? that’s retarded
