YOUR PRAYERS ARE NEEDED!

       Our old FRiend Prime Choice (Jay Dyson), who many of you will  remember as the talented creator of 'Sacred Cow Burgers' (ref:  here, and here), credits YOUR PRAYERS as critical in enabling him to successfully weather his serious past medical adversity, but is now reaching out out again for your help...

In a recent email, Jay says in part...

You will undoubtedly recall my prayer request from 7 years ago.  The grace of the Almighty was a salve upon my affliction then, and my family and I desperately need it now.

I am presently under "no contact" isolation as the doctors believe this infection is MRSA.  I have gone through surgery and my white blood cell count is over 28,000 whereas a healthy person's count is usually around 10,000.

With this in mind, I ask you to pass a prayer request along the same circles you did before when I was stricken in 2004.  I ask this not simply for me, but largely so I can hold my 4 month old daughter and 4 year old son again.

Update:  Sunday, April 24th:

I want to share with you and the prayer warriors the blessings the benevolence of Christ has bestowed upon me and mine due in no small way to your prayers.

This morning the infectious disease specialist came by to advise me that the MRSA cultures had turned during the night... Better still, the wound has begun to heal and is no longer draining as terribly as before, making the infection far less communicable.

With all that, the doctors lifted my no-contact orders and I got to have visitors this morning!  My prayers were literally answered as I got to hold my baby Miranda and young son Andy.  It was truly my best Easter ever.

... Thanks be to Christ and to all those who were champion to me and mine with their prayers.
