Need to stockpile more M&Ms & chocolate The only problem with stockpiling choclate is that it has a very (relatively) short shelf life. Maybe a year. I have a bunch vacuum sealed and frozen but that goes out the window if/when the lights go out. Maybe it's time to get that generator.

Depending on the SHTF situation a generator would be like calling SUUUUUUUUUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEYYYYYY... to the hogs.

Honda 2000 will run everything but the big appliances and are fuel frugal. Run the generator to charge your freezer, refrigerator, lights, 12 volt batteries for lighting and to run the inverter so the grand kids can watch TV. I can get by with a gallon of gas a day.

Honda 2000 is also very quiet. A few baffles and it would be noiseless. Don’t run it in your garage! CO

I've been stocking up on chocolate syrup! Lasts a whole lot longer than candy if it's unopened.
