The Trouble With Romney
Mr. L's Tavern ^ | 17 APRIL 2011 | Mr.L's Tavern

The Trouble With Romney I read the New York Post this morning and, reluctantly, the weekly Peggy Noonan column. Noonan is a centrist RINO who thinks she represents mainstream American conservative thinking because she wrote speeches for Ronald Reagan over thirty years ago. You can read her article titled “Obama Can Lose” here:

http://www.nypost.com/p/news/opinion/opedcolumnists/obama_can_lose_XyLH4VsgHAHvWQlmzrdGRJ?CMP=OTC-rss&FEEDNAME

The traitorous Noonan—who supported, shrilled and voted for Obama in 2008—writes that even if the economy turns around, inflation calms and mid east unrest subsides, Obama will lose in 2012. According this shrill, the only way Obama will win is if the GOP fails to “nominate, recruit and support candidates who can speak to the entire country, who have serious experience and accomplishments, who are grounded and credible, then they will win centrist support.” She also claims that “Republicans voting in recent presidential primaries have tended to pick the candidates who are viewed as the moderate in the race — Bob Dole in 1996, George W. Bush in 2000, John McCain in 2008.”

"who have serious experience and accomplishments, who are grounded and credible,"

Well, that rules out Slick Willard. He's a destructive farce and pathological liar.

Democrats, and RINO’s. It’s what makes a body weak.

Noonan. She’s a corker ain’t she?

Well,
From the circles i run with, the republicans are running lean on new, accomplished, visionary, and creative candidates for 2011. The ones right now are not exciting, and do not inspire, except for Palin. Palin inspires and says things most conservative believe, but the republican political establishment doesn’t like her because she not pedigreed, an interloper, and in their minds, a distraction. But they would never turn down her support if she offered it. With that said, the republicans better come up with someone purty darn quick, or they will lose again. Cuz all Obama has to do is swing to the center, like Clinton did, make a few centrist legislative moves, and enough independents may forgive him,..and ....walla.

Obama wasn’t a centrist, and he won. The difference was that he had the media lying to the voters and concealing the fact that he was the farthest Left candidate running.

How about the 2007 Iowa Republican debate. The infamous “Show of Hands” Question. It went:

Show of hands - How many of you think global climate changes is a serious threat, and caused by human activity.

Four hands went up, before Fred Thompson said I’m not doing hand shows. Romney was one of those hands.

Mitt's 'I was for it but now I'm against it' RomneyCare is a millstone around his neck, it's made him unelectable.
