There's not much I can add to Mark Levin's explanation of why Donald Trump does not represent the conservative or Tea Party movements. He wasn't there when we needed him, and he helped those who were against us.
So why the swirling support around Trump?
Much of it, without doubt, is name recognition. But that cannot explain it completely.
As of now, Trump is the only one willing to meet Obama's smash-mouth attitude with smash-mouth attitude.
Obama can invite Paul Ryan to sit in the front row for Obama's budget speech, and then spend 45 minutes calling Ryan everything but a murderer, and Obama gets away with it because we have respect for the Office of the President even if we do not respect the President.
Obama got a pass on Jeremiah Wright and Bill Ayers, and on just about everything else, as his minions trashed the Clintons, Geraldine Ferraro, and everyone who criticized Obama as racists.
The lesson of the recent sound of the Trump-et is not that we need Donald Trump, it's that we need to distinguish more clearly between the Office of the President and the President. ,p> And we need someone who is not afraid to tell it like it is about the most arrogant, demeaning and dismissive President of my adult life.

This is one great rant, click on the link and listen.
It’s about time someone cleared the air
No Trump bump.
People like him because Trump doesn’t care what you think about him and says what he wants. I really think it’s that simple.
I am listening to this for the second time. Levin really lays out the case against the Donald. It's a great and informative rant.
Wake up FR, this guy is to the left of most of the RINO's we all dislike.
Levin said yesterday that he is embarrassed that so many have been taken in by Trump and his phony act. I agree. This Man-crush for no other reason other than him being a birther, is about the silliest damn thing I have seen in Politics in all my life. Mark also pointed out that all of the Liberal things Trump has said or done is NOT ancient history, as supporters say.
Some Christians still have a problem with St. Paul ~ which is to say Trump will always be a problem, but for the moment he’s doing the Lord’s Own Work!

Levin rips Donald Trump to shreds
Posted by The Right Scoop on Apr 15, 2011 in Politics
Audio:
Levin points out many things about Trump that show he is no conservative, but a few of the glaring ones are the fact that he support Charlie Crist over Marco Rubio twice, as well as calling for the impeachment of George W. Bush, accusing him of lying to get us in the war. Oh yeah, and he supported Universal Health Care in America, the Canadian style.
And theres more. This is a must listen.

So did Larry Flint, but he got maybe two supporters. This is all about him being a Birther, and goodness knows there are an endless supply of Birthers and conspiracy nuts, who latch on to him for no other reason.
I’m sure it’s all exciting and certainly comprehensive. But for the moment Trump has the national ear ~ and he’s not focused on national healthcare.
The case Levin gives here is compelling. The man gave to liberals, and liberal republicans. he never once gave to any TEA party activities. He gave to Harry Reid, he gave to Chuck Schumer, he said Bambi was a great president for the first year, he said Nancy Pelosi was a great woman and should have done more to oppose Bush.....
And his rant showed plenty more about the Donald and his true nature....he's a lib......Grrrrrrrr!
Correct. The list of RINOS and dems he supported just this last election is significant. And his support of Tea Party activism was nil. He's just an opportunist.
Thank you, it’s where I heard it, so I posted it that way.
yeh, I think it is evident that his popularity comes from his being recognized as NOT being a professional politician; or scum as crockett referred to politicians...
As a long time birther, I have to agree with Mark. Trump is using the issue to his advantage and to the advantage of the left, which Trump is clearly part of.
This is a scam, don’t fall for it.
The left is going to use this issue to smack us right in the face, we need to be smarter than this.
Mark is right when he says no court is gonna remove Obama.
Well the evidence certainly is coming in more and more concerning Trump, that he has leaned to the left far more than the right. But what he is saying now does seem to refute what he’s sone in the past, so the question is front and center..does he think BO is tkaing this country down...I would say yes, does he think in order to stop him one has to side with the republicans...obvious he does. But if in office would he then resort back to his former stance....well, most do once they’ve achieved their goal. So Trump wpuld certainly be a huge risk as Pres. IMO.
Still I root for his taking Bo to the mat now...enjoying the show.
