Donald Trump Forces Sean Hannity To Talk About "Birther" Issue
Bluegrass Pundit ^ | Friday, April 15, 2011 | Bluegrass Pundit

Hannity has been avoiding the "birther" issue like the plague, but Donald Trump has finally forced Hannity to  begin talking about it. Clearly, Hannity is behind the knowledge curve and needs to research the issue in more depth. At least he is isn't ridiculing Americans who want to see Obama's records or calling the issue a distraction. I have a message for Republicans and so-called Conservatives who think this issue is a distraction. Folks who are secretive usually have something to hide. Whatever it is; President Obama has made the decision this information will be very damaging to him in some way. How can any information President Obama is willing to spend as much as $2 million to keep hidden be classified as a distraction in the next election? Remember the Swiftboat Vets? Was that a distraction? Disclosing the truth about John Kerry's past probably cost him the election. The same may be true for President Obama. The Birthers may very well be Obama's Swiftboat Vets.

Good point. This is stronger than Swift Boat. This is Watergate 2. Obama would be forced to resign if he’s not eligible for the office of POTUS and was complicit in the coverup.

Elites think there would be riots and Americans can’t handle the truth. Plus, many are complicit.

Hannity is behind the curve. Anyone saying this isn’t an issue hasn’t research it or is lying for a reason.

Trump had a very good interview with Hannity last night for 30 minutes talking about Obama’s sorry job performance. The second half of the interview will air this evening.

When people say Trump is a RINO/Publicity Hound/Sideshow it makes want to compare him to other RINO/Loser republican candidate's and then something hit me.

If you took ALL the statements from Trump the last month and compared them to all they statements John McCain, Bob Dole & George H.W. Bush have uttered their ENTIRE lives, Donald Trump would be more conservative. Those losers never were that conservative!

That is why I am willing to sit back and watch The Donald.
Heck, I believe in conversions in life and TRUMP may be going through one RIGHT NOW!.

He says it all without a teleprompter which makes him a lot different than Romney.

Yes, it is an important issue.

No, the results of the last election will under NO circumstances be reversed. Its just the way it is.

I watched a president lie to prosecutors, get away with rape, obstruct justice and leave office at the end of his term with 60% approval.

Go ahead and prove he was born abroad - but Obama will never be forced out.

Unless Trump points out that with or without a birth certificate, Obama was not born to a citizen father, he too is running interference for Obama. All the other candidates know, and are afraid of something - the press? - financial repercussions from civil unrest? - the SEIU/Acorn? - the repercussions for having said nothing when all of them knew the truth, at least every senator, having signed Senate Res 511 to try to insure that the questionable jus soli - born on soverign U.S. territory - issue did not prevent him from at least running, since with McCain in the race no Republican would mention Obama’s failure to satisfy the jus sanguinis component of natural born citizenship, which, like almost every other term in the Constitution, is defined again and again in our common law. Obama was born to an alien father. That was anathema to our founders and framers. It violates our Constitution.

In 2008 every U.S. senator signed Senate Res 511 in which testimony was the following dialog:

“My assumption and my understanding is that if you are born of American parents, you are naturally a natural-born American citizen,” Chertoff replied. “That is mine, too,” said Leahy.”
For good measure, since who would trust a U.S. senator these days, here is Chief Justice Morrison Waite's definition, in Minor v. Happersett, 88 U.S. 162 (near the top; resd it!) in a case dealing with women's sufferage:

"The Constitution does not, in words, say who shall be natural-born citizens. Resort must be had elsewhere to ascertain that. At common-law, with the nomenclature of which the framers of the Constitution were familiar, it was never doubted that all children born in a country of parents who were its citizens became themselves, upon their birth, citizens also. These were natives, or natural-born citizens, as distinguished from aliens or foreigners."

I placed a birth notice in a small town paper (one of the grandparents has relatives there).

To do the birth notice they didn’t require a BC or check any facts. It was a courtesy to let know friends and family the birth took place. Proves nothing if someone found that (me included) and tried to use it in a court of law to prove anything.

Hawaii blew it though by saying “I saw the original” typed and signed by the birth doctor. That’s the document we have yet to see and they admitted it exists. SHOW IT!

According to someone that reviewed the notices, EVERY birth listed back then had “Mr. and Mrs.”

It looks to me like the Fox crew has been told to lay off the eligibility issue and as corporate employees they can comply or fly.

Fox has its reasons. I don’t doubt that the FCC and maybe the IRS is making threats. Ailes and Co. don’t need the hassle. It’s that simple.

If you want political crusades, the place to look for them is the blogoshere, NOT a money-making outfit like Fox.

Putting out fire with gasoline:

lth records in 2008, when the issue of Obama’s birth first arose, Fukino said she thought she had put the matter to rest. Contacted by NBC, Fukino expanded on previous public statements and made two key points when asked about Trump’s recent comments.

The first is that the original so-called “long form” birth certificate — described by Hawaiian officials as a “record of live birth” — absolutely exists, located in a bound volume in a file cabinet on the first floor of the state Department of Health. Fukimo said she has personally inspected it — twice. The first time was in late October 2008, during the closing days of the presidential campaign, when the communications director for the state’s then Republican governor, Linda Lingle (who appointed Fukino) asked if she could make a public statement in response to claims then circulating on the Internet that Obama was actually born in Kenya.

“Record of live birth” is not a legal term and does not answer the question. It could mean somebody’s handwritten notes, who knows?

The long form is called the “Certificate of Live Birth.” I don’t think anybody has told the lie that they have seen it.

Fukino was using Clinton-like weasel words. She just wanted to shut down inquiries.

Lefties don’t seem to grasp that weasel words make us even MORE aggressive in the pursuit of truth.
