You're mixing your terms and disorders.

While Antisocial Personality Disorder (under which "sociopath" falls) and Borderline Personality Disorder are both Cluster B diagnoses, my layman's opinion is that he presents with behaviors more characteristic of another Cluster B condition: Narcissistic Personality Disorder.
