Boehner on Cutting $100 Billion in Discretionary Spending Next Week:
"The American people have directed us to cut spending. We will. And theres no limit to the amount were willing to cut to help get our economy moving again. Let me be very clear about this: we are going to exceed our Pledge to America. We are going to cut $100 billion in discretionary spending next week. Write it down. $100 billion in discretionary spending. And we arent going to stop there."

Yeah - lets all hold our breath... at least that is what Obama would like us to do... hold our breath until Repubs grow a backbone and actually DO cut spending.
Since it won’t happen, there will be a mass die-off of Conservatives.
Get behind John and pray for his strength and success in this endeavor. Ask God to forgive us our wanton ways and to block funding of planned parenthood. Which is a huge expensive death machine to our population growth in America. Wrong on any level. Rare is it that a woman might die because of childbirth. It is a risk of being alive. To abort millions of babies is sinful, before God and we are receiving troubles caused by it. MO
Ouch! I stand condemned and needed to ask God to forgive me for my " Peter" like response. Thank you Geologist for once again bringing me back to my knees.
Dems aren’t stuck on stupid. They know EXACTLY what they are doing (though many are dumb sheep to the larger agenda at work). They have no moral compass - so stealing from future generations to pay for their socialist programs is not a problem.
I agree. The same people who are bitching about Boenher now are the same people who spent more time in 2008 complaining about McCain than they did 0bama. They also forget that a famous governor who ran for Presdient promissed to eliminate the Dept of Engery and the Dept of Education in 1979.
Without a REAL demonstration of backbone and a willingness to fight dirty - Repubs WON’T take the Senate and WH... It was the lack of backbone and willingness to act responsibly that lost the all three in the last 10 years. IF they fail to stand up now...
What’s amazing to me is people actually believe the current GOP will do anything if they get the majority in both houses. They had all 3 branches for 6 years and look what it got us.
Munson was actually pretty fast. John Ellis, on the other hand.
Not gonna happen.
They don't have what it takes.
Hey, hey, hey! Do you want John Boohoo to start crying again?!? It took us two days to get him to turn off the waterworks the last time. Take it easy on the big fellah!
/barf
I hear you bro. I've had it, too. Hang in there...
Grow a pair GOP. I received a funding letter from the GOP yesterday and sent it back with a letter telling them to grow a pair or I would never support them again, which I don't do now.
The date for this is 2/11/2011.
So basically you are proving that Boehner lied to us.
$36 billion is not $100 billion.
However I think we need to light a fire under their butts. We've long since passed the point of patient hope.
The last time we trusted these pukes they squandered control of all three branches of government.
Fool me once... you know how it goes.
We have no tolerance for betrayal nor failure any more.
bingo!!!!
We needed Michael Corleone, and instead we got Fredo.
A vote of NO confidence for Boehner, ya blew it pal.
Before the primaries, I think enough people DIDN’T complain about McLame in 2008. Your theory doesn’t hold water, I think we didn’t complain ENOUGH and dopes who picked him over more conservative choices are to blame.
Yeah Munson wasn’t the slowest, but you get my idea.
I wonder if Trump will weigh in on this.
So basically you are proving that Boehner lied to us.
$36 billion is not $100 billion. Yes, that is exactly my point. It IS his "read my lips" moment.
