I don't know if Donald Trump is going to actually run for President. If he does, I'm not at all clear on whether I'll support him. In fact, right now my vote is Sarah Palin's to lose, but all of the attention being focused on The Donald's possible run for office shouldn't distract conservatives for appreciating what's really going on. What's really going on is that Donald Trump is performing a great service for our nation, and I, for one, want to thank him.
The Donald's increasingly intense attacks on Obama's (in)eligibility for office, and the questions surrounding his past, are putting pressure on the media spin machine that has tried so hard to keep this story under wraps. What's fascinating to me is that, of the 300-or-so-million people who inhabit the United States, a very precious few have the ability to do what he's doing right now, and here's a few reasons why...

I know-—like the Mittster, some of these positions have developed conveniently, and recently. Hey, I would vote for him over Zero in a heartbeat, and would work for him. But he isn’t my first choice. But I certainly celebrate his willingness to FIGHT the evil libs.

Democrats all fall in behind their candidate and never yield, they unite to the common cause of winning. No matter what.

Trump is all show little substance. He's bankrupted more businesses than had succeed and his fame and fortune is more a factor of his celebrity status than actual business acumen. His fortune is because everyone thinks he has the answer and people are willing to pay money to listen to him talk or to watch him ridicule others.
Trump is a buffoon, a name, image, cliche and symbolism with a huge inflated ego and the fact that he's the #2 choice for conservatives in polling says something horrible about the conservative voter, just as the selection of the buffoon Obama did for the liberals.

I agree with all this. But, I still don’t know why Trump is being so vocal and energetic, ONLY NOW.
He’s worlds apart from the dim bulb socialist in the White House. Trump would “deal” with China and all the other nations on our trade imbalance. Jobe would come back in a big way.....
Obama is in a public trust position and there is a constitutional requirement to be a natural born American. The onus isn't on the “birthers” to disprove his eligibility but on him to prove he is eligible. It's backwards what those defending him are doing. His refusal to hand over these documents or even answer questions if he doesn't have the long form is an insult! For that reason alone Trump is spot on in tearing into him. But please Mr. Trump, don't run!
