To make matters worse, youre again being played for a chump. The same puppets who did nothing while your standard of living decreased are now using the oldest gimmick in the book jealousy to continue their assault on American workers. Rather than protect Americans jobs, they deflect your attention through jealousy.
Liberals accusing Conservatives of class warfare is always laughable.

The writer is a fool to think any individual can “do something about it.”
What, vote in a system that’s corrupt to its core?

OK I get it. We should do what Great Britain did at the end of the empire? Sooo..that was a great success, not.

So much stupidity. It’s amazing that those who can’t see more than one link away can tell us about our chains.

at the individual level one can always argue that each individual is responsible for the people they elect.
I would offer a counter-view - when you control enough of the media, you can control the debate on almost any topic as far as a good chunk of the population is concerned. Things you don’t want to discuss aren’t topics at all in the minds of those you misinform. The manufacturing free-trade destruction in america was only possible because both parties and the media are for it. This goes for any number of topics, though on a lot the media openly favors one party over the other.
One can go and individually blame each voter personally, but in reality, when the tools many voters need aren’t easily accessible or provided, and they are fed constant streams of incomplete and/or false information to mold their views, the net effect is they will tend to be more likely to have views that are useful to the media’s agenda.

This article was a roundabout way of telling us morons that unions deserve their satin cushion seating at the jobs table.

Insanity.
America became a “world power” because we were practically the only country left intact after WWII.

Unions caused greatness?
Where, the steel industry, Detroit, Michigan?
Union today are a cancer on the business or government they infest.

"Second, you bought into the myth that unions are the cause of Americas demise. You didnt bother to learn America became a world power when union membership was at its peak. "
Fail. The author is overlooking what unions have become, which is not what they were.
Unions aren't the cause of the problem but they've become a huge part of it.

I warned you Id likely offend you, and I suspect I did. But once you overcome your anger, consider my analysis. Then, either wise up and do something about it, or resign yourself to a lower standard of living for the next decade.
Sorry, Comrade. But I don't let unionist ass-clowns have the privilege of making me angry. But I did consider your analysis, and I will do something about it. I will make it my purpose to defeat you marxist bastids each and every time I can.
That begins with never voting for a democrat and never buying a Government Motors vehicle.

Yeah, I hate freaking euros. Everybody knows how to fix someone else’s problems. Europe: Stop yelling about the mote in your neighbors eye while ignoring the beam in your own.
There is nothing good about old europe. They learn nothing in school, they are cradle-to-grave welfare socializt recipients, and they smell bad. Most of them don’t even know how to drive. Their shitty-assed little countries are like rest stops along the interstate in America. They wouldn’t know a real country if it bit them on the ass.

"Union benefits provide a standard other companies have to match, or at least come close to."
Has this guy come out from under his rock in the last 30 years?
To: DarkSavant
Did you demand your leaders address America?s trade imbalance or continuous outsourcing of jobs? Nope. And I never demanded the that somebody do something about that gravity thing that's always keeping me down. If somebody would just outlaw it I could fly like a birdy.
And if they would just outlaw various laws of economics, other people would have to live their lives in service of my interests instead of their own. They could only buy and sell goods and labor on terms that benefited me. If I had only insisted through some vague and undefined process that immutable principles be bent for my benefit then, according to this guy, I wouldn't so stupid.

Well, Americans as a whole are chumps. In the global economy, American wage earners are gonna suffer a downturn in salary.
As a whole, the American manufacturer is very efficient. Thus, its demise. The more efficient, the less you need of them.
