Rebel Pundit attended the latest anti-war rally in Chicago, Illinois and captured footage the local media failed to report.
He writes:
Recently at a Left Wing protest and march, held by the Immigrant Youth Justice League and Chicago Socialists.org, we were handed an invitation to the annual “Anti-War March” in downtown Chicago on March 19th, 2011. The protest and march were one of many large “Anti-War” protests nationwide, organized by the far left wing anti-war front group, The Answer Coalition. Over 70 so called “faith based organizations and community groups” such as; the Party for Socialism and Liberation, Chicago Coalition Against War and Racism, International Socialist Organization, American Muslims for Palestine, and Code Pink joined forces to bring the rally together.
However, the way the local Chicago media covered the rally was an entirely different story. This is pretty much expected from local — and even national– mainstream media outlets anymore.
