David Frum truly is a disgraceful, petty, Palin-obsessed Washington-insider. (Mark Levin)

Here's a part of his post at CNN, where he is apparently a regular contributor, which makes the point:

"Ben Smith in Politico reports that the trip was booked through a Christian tour operator. But the real news is who did not book the trip: the Republican Jewish Coalition, the group that brought George W. Bush to Israel in 1998, Mitt Romney in 2007, Haley Barbour in 2011, and many other presidential hopefuls beside.

"Very likely you have never heard of the Republican Jewish Coalition. But then again, you probably are not seeking the Republican presidential nomination. If you were seeking the nomination, the RJC is one of the groups whose support you would certainly want.

"Joining an RJC Israel tour is a well-established ritual in gaining the support of the RJC's board and the group's 40,000 activist members."

The rest of Frum's brilliance is here:

http://www.cnn.com/2011/OPINION/03/21/frum.palin.israel/index.html?hpt=T2

By most accounts, Palin's trip was a great success. She stated her emphatic support for Israel. She met with several important Israelis. She was invited by the Prime Minister for a private dinner. And more.

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1368656/Sarah-Palin-shows-solidarity-Jerusalem-tour-Why-Israel-apologising-time.html?ito=feeds-newsxml

But that's not good enough for Frum. According to him, she didn't use the RJC, of which he is a Board member, to handle the event. As an American, Jew, and conservative, I consider Frum an embarrassment. With rising anti-Semitism throughout the world and support for Israel weakening in the West, including among young people in the United States, he should be praising her visit and her commitment to Israel. He should encourage more such trips and meetings by more opinion-makers and politicians, regardless of the group that handles these events. Instead, Frum focuses on nonsense. This is why Frum is neither taken seriously nor should be by a growing number of thinking conservatives.

As for Ben Smith at Politico, why does it matter if Palin's trip was booked through a Christian tour operator? Indeed, why isn't that a good thing? Do we not want Christian organizations promoting Israel? Smith is another small mind.

Really, Dave? You’ve got a conservative Republican candidate, a Christian, who’s an avid Judeophile, an avid supporter of Israel, who just went over there, apparently enjoyed the trip, and apparently gets along with the Netanyahus like old pals, and the RJC board is going to get hissy about her because she didn’t take the trip with you guys, this time? I mean, I know you would, because you’re a sniveling little prat, but the whole board? Because if so...and don’t take this observation as solely against you, because it really is not, you’re just the current case in point...there are entirely too many people and entirely too many organizations in the GOP and the conservative movement who think entirely too highly of themselves.

The word is “petty”.

Of course Frum isn’t and has never been a conservative

But Palin? Clearly, they are terrified of her.

They know what happened to corrupt "good ol' boys" in Alaska. What the Beltway Elites fear most is being exposed and ousted from the seats of power that they never earned or deserved.

*** BTW, does anyone know what Frum, Billy Kristol and the rest of the pukeneos actually do for a living? None of the pukes have any visible means of support, ***

With Frum, it looks like right now he HAS NO MEANS of support. Visible or otherwise. (per wiki)

And what gets me is that he's a DUAL CITIZEN -- Canadian & USA. And when he worked for Dubya and wrote that "Axis of Evil" line he was only a Canadian! He didn't become an 'American' until a couple years ago. And no surprise here -- Frum was one of the first of Dubya's advisors who was egging him on to attack Iraq, and this was well before UN Resolution 1441 was passed.

Oh. And he wanted Bush to attack IRAN too.

(all per wiki)

They should keep up the petty nonsense about Gov. Palin until everyone can see just how petty and nonsensical it really is. It’s already getting to the eye-rolling point, and the urge to suggest that they shut the heck up.

. If you were seeking the nomination, the RJC is one of the groups whose support you would certainly want.

Well, I guess that settles it. She's not going to run.

Yep. I believe this, and I have even written about it on my blog. She is fearsome because she is a leader, and a righteous one, at that, and has proved it in the past. Nothing like a guilty conscience in the face of righteousness to make the RINO rats in Washington hunt their holes.

Thank you! Nice to get confirmation from someone who’s witnessed first hand Palin in action.

Not a fan of Palin, but I agree with her. The RJC are a bunch of establishment pukes. In 2007 they tried to play gatekeeper and sabotage the Hunter, Tancredo and Paul campaigns by keeping them out of a debate. When I called them and some schmuck said Hunter and Tancredo were not relevent or friends of Israel, I pointed out his ignorance and quit the RJC.

I never really understood why that happened and I’m still PO’d about it.

I love it yesterday when Levin referred to bill o'reilly as "the FOX 8:00 o'clock guy". He was talking about how O'Reilly is such a kiss-up to Obama in hopes of getting more appearances on his show where he can kiss Obama's ass some more and generate more money for himself at the expense of conservatives. But I guess those two Irish guys stick together.

Immigration. A lot of members of the RJC leadership want to make immigration restriction non-respectable.
