Investigate the global warming “science” – guess who wants that

Speaking to the most respected scientific organization in Germany, that country’s former chancellor, Helmut Schmidt, said a full inquiry needs to be held into the credibility of advice on global warming stemming from the UN’s Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change.

Gee, we’ve been saying that for years. Maybe our words finally were translated into German. Here’s a German word Schmidt used to describe some of the IPCC’s scientists “Betrüger.”

It means con-man, defrauder, swindler, trickster.

In his speech, former Chancellor Helmut Shmidt said . . .

Schmidt was chancellor for the socialist SPD; an old Keynesian who ruined the economy. But apart from that, the old Wehrmacht badass was one of the best politicians we’ve ever had in Germany. He became very unpopular in his own party, and with good reason: He is in many ways more conservative, and more anti-communist, than even most members of our supposedly conservative parties. I wish we had more like him. Stay healthy, and keep saying it like it is, Helmut!

The coming Ice Age 70s
Acid Rain 80s
Ozone Hole 90s
Global Warming 2000s-present

Now “Climate Change.”

Most of these eco fads are heavily dependent on the inertia created by mobilizing the youth, at least initially.

It's all bogus and based on pseudo science. You have a large number of young people looking for a cause. Many have no purpose in life nor do they have religion, so these “eco fads” give them meaning in life. It makes their existence purposeful. In a way, these fads are an extension of the humanistic culture where genesis is replaced by the Big Bang and Evolution, and the Apocalypse is some form of man made eco crisis. These fads are no more than the humanist tithing to their green Goddess to get to their version of nirvana or heaven.

You have the typical demagogue politicians who see these fads come and go and throw themselves on that locomotive as it picks up steam. Like a surfer, they ride these fads to achieve their political and most often selfish intentions (since they know it's all BS deep down inside, don't lead by example........ even though they would never admit it). these fads are ALL politically exploited to for the purpose of getting ones name out there and like all other “feel good” garbage it's about kissing the children in front of the camera. Taking a position on abortion, Iraq, debt and government spending, health care might gain political capital in one area, but costs you elswhere. These soft feel good topics are generally all positive with no real political expense to pay for the politician. No one will come after you and there is no political price to pay by wanting to save those fluffy big black wet eyed baby seals!

Every one of these “fads” creates the self image of being the underdog and as if there is a conspiracy against them, even though it is in reality big business pushing for them, may if be GE (Huge federal subsidies, major recipient of contracts for wind turbines, exclusive patent on CFL for a long time, etc), huge corporate food producers and retailers..... etc. Hollywood and the majority of the news media is even on board, and yet they ALL see themselves as victims as they pummel all dissenters into the ground as heretics on the college campus where even the entire academic establishment is on board with these ideas but also sees themselves as the underdog.

It is ironic in that when it comes to these eco fads, NOTHING is what it appears for even the so called green products like the CFL will eventually be reconsidered because it is heavily subsidized, contains mercury....... Another example is paper recycling which never made sense and in some places is being stopped. Not even from day one did it make sense because it is actually MORE polluting (electricity/water usage and logistics) and MORE cost intense to recycle paper than use virgin pulp. There was never a threat of our forests being cut down, the pulp comes from farms......... The facade with all these eco fads is that they are all based on some illusion of science and ethics.

But debating the issue is pointless. You're dealing with a dumbed down people today in America. Critical thinking in America simply means to attack the idea of a God or religion, patriarchal concepts and the Judea Christian culture. Not taught to think (no formal logic nor fallacies), no historical perspectives (no reading of the classics or great philosophers), poor at math (lack of analytical skills), but learning about all sorts of social theories and a revisionist history, American youth can be convinced of anything and they will tag along like zombies because they are incapable of thinking.

Faced with destruction, he made the right choices like agreeing to station the Pershing in Germany, which was highly unpopular. He pushed for nuclear power, another very unpopular move even at that time. He was a pragmatist and patriotic German first, then a politician second. Although (not sure if still alive) a few years ago he’s let some crazy stuff come across his lips..... age?

The key difference between Germany today and back then is that the German politician as well as the “Volk” have no real threat picture nor want to see one post 1989. That is why you had the break with the “realpolitik” under Schroeder/Fischer.

The IPCC has very little to do with science, and a lot to do about politics.......very liberal politics.
