I am looking for information for an article I am working on. In the 1970s in Mobile County, Alabama (where I was raised), there was a weekend where a lady's voice could be heard on a CB radio - perhaps asking for help following an accident. Almost everyone in Saraland was out looking in every ditch for this supposed victim. Turns out to have been a hoax. It actually made the local news. If you know anything about this, please let me know. Thanks for any help.
Was it anywhere near cry baby bridge? Lol remember its haunted.
Was an escaped convict with a hook involved?
Wasn’t the monster from Boggy Creek supposed to have sounded like a female,... Janet Reno. OK, sorry I couldn’t resist.
We talked about that in Opelika for a couple of weeks.
I think you would find her if you dredged the muddy waters off of tallahatchie bridge...
And always watch out for the Ghost Lights out there.
Actually I was on Kali O just the other day
I rememeber Kali Oka Rd as being the place for UFO/marsh gas sightings, but I think that was in the mid-sixties.The seventies were the heyday for the CB radio, so that may well been a CB hoax, but good luck on your quest.
Yes - Cry Baby Bridge is all I seem to be able to find when looking for Kali Oka Road stuff.
