If you had been following the coupon forums at HotCouponWorld.Com, you would have already known that Family Dollar store has a fantastic deal on Purex. The Purex with Zout 33 load bottles are on sale for just $3.50 so when you use the $3.00 Purex with Zout coupon from the February 20 Red Plum you could have scored it for only 50 cents. Tomorrow is the last day of that deal so if you have those coupons, you can stock up.

A lot of cashiers act like they never saw that "exotic" object known as a coupon before.

I was at Family Dollar today. I almost never shop there but had a coupon for $5 off a $20 or more purchase. I found several items at a good price plus a couple on clearance.

An IMPORTANT coupon policy update: Walmart is now accepting Walgreens register rewards and is even giving change in MONEY for the overages. RummyChick got her overage back in the form of a Walmart gift card since this new policy hasn't seeped down to the lower levels of Walmart yet. You can read all about this new policy HERE.

Not a fan of Walmart myself(not because libtards tell me its an evil corporation LOL) but if this is true I may have to change my tune. The question is what will Walgreens do in retailation if Walmart starts cutting in on their coupon business?

The big news to me is that we should be able to spend our Register Rewards on stuff at Walmart that previously were mostly not covered by coupons. Things like steak and produce.

If converted to Walmart gift cards, right?

scratch my last post Here is the answer to my question.

“Coupons may exceed the price of the item. Change may be given or applied toward the cost of the basket purchase.”

Yep, the Wags-Walmart bridge is going to be the ticket to FREE EVERYTHING! Too bad Wags is pretty dead for deals this next two weeks.

I still have over $60 of RRs. I need to spend them by early next week or they expire. Since no good WAG deals next week, I think I will take them over to Walmart and use them on stuff I really need...especially steaks. Oddly enough, yesterday I was at WAGS looking for Rain-X but they didn't sell them. Since Walmart now accepts WAG RRs, I'll just go there this week and score my FREE Rain-X with my RRs.

p.s. I might even join Sam's Club just so I can use my RRs on gasoline. If they don't allow that, I will simply put my overage on a Walmart card and then use that to buy gasoline.

I don’t know if Sam’s takes coupons at all. I read somewhere that they didn’t. The Walmart gift card is a great idea though to pay for gas. I hadn’t thought of that. Up here Sam’s doesn’t have gas, but they do in SC where we’re moving this summer! Can’t wait!

This Walmart thing changes everything. I really hope it lasts.

There is a Walmart here with its own gas station. I don't know whether you have to be a Sam's Club member to buy gas there or just have a Walmart gift card to pay. If you have to be a Sam's Club member, then I would definitely join. Getting that FREE gas via the WAG RRs is already making me drool. Until now I had worked complicated scenarios in my mind in order to get gas for just a 40% discount but with gas available for FREE via the new policy, this changes things completely.

And where are those folks who claim they can't be "bothered" by couponing?

Some people are so thick-headed. The ones that really bother me are the ones that just can't wrap their heads around how couponing works. They're the ones who ask you 'Who needs all that Maalox?' or 'What are you going to do with 100 bags of Combos?' No matter what you do, some people just can't get the idea that it ain't about the damn Combos, it's about the $50 they paid me to take them out of the store and the $200-$300 retail value of the stuff I bought with that $50.

But this makes everything much easier. I was planning on doing a project where I'd get everything for Thanksgiving for free like you did, but with this, it isn't even going to be a challenge anymore! My mind is racing with all the possibilities!

One other great thing about this new policy is that we won't be stuck with buying just Walgreens electronics stuff which is limited. Now we can purchase some really great electronics from the much VASTER supply of Walmart. The choices have now EXPLODED exponentially.

An oatmeal cookie to the first person who uses WAG RRs to buy a flat screen TV at Walmart.
