Last Thursday, 03/03/11, we reported that there is a bill under consideration in the Connecticut legislature that would require confiscation of all magazines with a capacity of over ten rounds that remain in the state 90 days after the bill becomes law, if it does.
Now, the geniuses in Massachusetts are proposing going Connecticut one better. Its a state commission to study the feasibility of requiring Global Positioning Systems (GPS) locators in firearms. Here is the bill:

I wonder how many criminals could defeat GPS and hide magazines?
Safer bullets is really the way to go
lol, that sounds easy to remove.
Confiscation liberals love that word.
So all gun owners are supposed to meekly trot down to the local sheriff’s office and either turn in their magazines or have some $500 GPS chip embedded in their firearms. Now THAT’S funny.
4th amendment issue?
This is not socialism, it is communism.
Wouldn't it be easier and cleaner just to strike the 2nd amendment from the Constitution?
1st amendment
3rd Amendment
4th amendment
Be careful, you will give Crissy a tingle up his other leg and make Mika empty her box of rocks.
They ought to put GPS locators on Massachusetts politicians, just to determine what percentage are drinking heavily at Foley’s, soliciting bribes, in hotel rooms with escorts, or buying liquor by the case in New Hampshire.

Nerf Bullets can even be used on Politicians with no harm.
Why would anyone be surprised by this idiotic action taken by the MA legislature? After all, the voters of MA continued to reelect Ted Kennedy until he died. They seem destined to to the same with Barney Frank and John Kerry. Somehow, Scott Brown won, but he is a RHINO of the nth degree. The GPS devices in firearms will only be successful with law abiding citizens. Serial numbers deter nothing, firearm registration deters nothing. No matter the law, the criminals will find a way to defeat it.
The most effective method to deter crime is for a free people to own and possess firearms without any harassment from their government. There aren’t enough police to protect us all simultaneous. When the federal government goes bankrupt, then riots will break out here just as they are currently doing in the Middle East. Then it will become every man for himself. GPS devices will only tell the government where to go to confiscate the weapons from us. That is their objective.
This idea is so ludicrous and opposed to our Constitution that it is inane to have to speak against it.
I just love a good laugh for the day.
I suspect that is what happened with those huns that were shipped down south already, much good that did.
Its not funny for those of us stuck here!
Please don’t give Calif. any more goofy gun law ideas. We have enough of our own.
I suggest injecting GPS locators in the asses of all Massachusetts legislators first.
It might actually be a good thing that liberals, like terrorists, tend to be technologically ignorant. They never let (other peoples) costs, science, facts, or practicality get in the way of their ever-increasing-in-magnitude public displays of stupidity.
Can’t get it out of my head.......this was the birth place of our republic.
Massachusetts couldn’t even get state snow plow drivers to agree to put GPS’s in their plows during a blizzard. The only place you could find the plow guys was either at Dunkin Donuts or back in their home neighborhood plowing out their friends. On the government’s dime, of course.
One good thing about Massachusetts. You always knew where to find your local policeman. Down at the local bar. One poor cop had a heart attack in the back room of the neighborhood pub. He was with one of the local gals for hire. At the funeral, which was held at Tip O’Neill’s church, the parish priest began his sermon, “Officer O’Mally led a full life...” Half the church was crying, the other half was biting their tongue to keep from laughing.
