This is exactly the answer the NRA should have been giving all along. I joined that bunch of jokers a few years back, thinking they were thinking along these lines, then started learning the truth about them. When they then kept harrassing me for more money, I wrote a letter to Wayne La Pierre telling him I’d support them again when they drew lines in the sand and promised to back those lines with their entire membership.
Anyway, a lot of words on my part. I like better what this guy says. Even shorter, Molon Labe!
‘...Vanderboegh simply answered, If you try to take our firearms, we will kill you. It boils down to that, he continues. If you try to take our firearms (liberty, property, insert any other God-given, inalienable right) we will kill you. ..’
Wonderful! Its so pleasant to hear the truth spoken, something that doesn’t often happen anymore. That said, its been happening for some time now and no one on the RKBA side has fired a shot. The pols are smarter than to take them all at once. They prefer incrementalism to lull us to sleep. Will be interesting to see what the next fed gun ban brings as far as compliance esp since gun owners crave being seem as ‘law abiding’.
90% of folks, would shrug their shoulders, and hand over the guns. To think otherwise, is to pretty much ignore the history of sheep.
BUMP!
10% of us is a hell of a lot.
BTW, I’d like to see some Congress-critter have the balls to propose legislation declaring it treason to propose any law that limits the Second in any way. Punishable by death. That might stop the incrementalism.
At the very least, there should be a law which stipulates that ANY legislator who pushes anti-gun legislation will lose their armed security. Period.
Why should they be protected by guns if they are saying we cannot do the same? That makes absolutely no sense.
About the only think appropriate for those who refuse to listen to truth.....
90 million gun owners. 10% left is a REALLY pissed off beehive of 9 million.
The longer version of that quote is on my FR profile page.
That crap went out the window at Nuremburg.

I’ve had the short version on my profile page for a while but I’ve just updated it with the fuller version.

ya think bambam likes those odds ???
This reasoning is invalid for two reasons: first, the important factor is homicide, not firearms homicide. It doesn't matter to me if I'm killed by a bullet, a knife, or a whack over the head -- I'm dead.
Second, the US is ethnically diverse, and most of our homicides are committed by the non-European-descended segments of our population (bringing this up is something the Left will be outraged over). If you look at homicide stats internationally, you see the unsurprising pattern that US ethnic groups with high homicide rates come from places with high homicide rates.
I'm not so sure. More than a few citizens have been dispatched by LEOs "just doing their job" as the "Bang List" has chronicled. These are, of course, "isolated incidences".
The Oath Keepers have already shown that there is a certain linguine consistency to their leaderships vertebrae. I'm hoping this will stiffen significantly in the event of a true S has HTF scenario.
Without a significant portion of them either refusing orders, or joining "our" side outright, it's going to be a complete goat-f*ck.
Even 1 percent would be formidable. There were never more than 20K actual fighter insurgents in Iraq and they managed to keep a good chunk of the military tied down for years.
I just remember the Mational Guard disarming citizens in NO after Katrina. The shooting should have started then.
If three persnet push back at least another 10 or 15 percsnt will soon follow.
