Yesterday Ann Coulter might have unintentionally, or possibly intentionally, let it be known that Sarah Palin will not run for president in 2012. Everyone has made their own best guess on whether or not Palin will run, but Coulter may have access to more "insider knowledge" given her position as an established conservative commentator. In an interview with Sean Hannity last night Coulter said that she "loved" Palin, but also took a slight verbal jab at the former half-term governor of Alaska. After praising Palin, Coulter goes on to say that she does not think that Palin will run for president. Hannity counters by saying that Coulter is "unnecessarily narrowing the field" and that Palin has publicly said she is still considering a run. It is at this point that Coulter reveals, "I think she's saying that because she also said Newt Gingrich told her you can get higher speaking fees if you pretend you are running for President." At this point things get awkward as Hannity tries to cut Coulter off (video to the left).

Then, the video stops abruptly and irritatingly before Coulter gives her answer on whether she would support a Palin POTUS run.

For me at this point - its about beating obama first and formost, not anything else. If sarah can do that fine. If someone else can, fine. So far - see no evidence that she can do that - even if the reasons are unfair and not a result of anything she has or has not done.
The stakes are far too high to have a repeat of 2008. We need to beat obama and will need all hands on deck. Sarah will have her part of course, and if its something other than the nominee, so be it. If she is the nominee I will support her and hope for the best. Either way - we all need to man up and act like adults and get behind whoever is the gop nominee unless we want this nightmare to continue.
I like Ann Coulter, bought her books and love it when she knocks the snot out of some pansy lefty, but she is, like many women even on the right, jealous as hell of Sarah.
I'm not sure it's her position, her husband, her boobs {Ann doesn't even pretend to have them} but what ever it is, I think she likes rachael madcow better than Sarah.
Bitchy women are easy to spot, even if they are mostly conservative, bitchy women.
If your goal is to beat Obama then you Eeyore routine about Palin is not helping...
You are on for a Hundred, bring her around and I'll do the measuring.
Do you believe she can get the bush ec map? I really don’t see her pulling off ohio. Show me how she gets to 275.
Kasich was just elected governor. Of course she will win Ohio.
The battlegrounds will be the upper Midwest/PA. Palin’s connection to that way of life will help her and make Obama appear to be out of step.
she locks up the south unlike McCain did.
in 38 states Obama is polling under 50%.
Palin brings in strong supporters, GOTV foot soldiers and gobs of fund raising to compete against Obama the other candidates do not. They will be out matched, out spent. they have no excitement to match Obama. We nominate someone like Mitch or Mitt and we might as well not even show up...
Yes, that is what she said. She is more effective...
Glock, the reason that she garners so much media attention is b/c there is a real chance that she may be the next leader of the free world. If she decides not to run, not only will I be sorely disappointed, but she will become just another commentator. Her time is now, not 2016, 2020, or ever again. If she is out, frankly, we are going to get a demoralizing weenie a la Bob Dole or John McCain as our standard bearer. Talk about letting the air out of the balloon! Palin/Rubio ‘12! Bob
Glock, she needs 270, or 269 with a GOP Congress.... Bob
lie was just said punk....get some new talkin points
FU is a cheap sissy squat to pee answer punk
“Sarah Palin is one of our own. An attack on her is an attack on me, and I don’t particularly like to be attacked.”
I’m sure with you on that one.
Not classy...nor called for.
BTTT!
Who are you kidding...if palin self-funds her campaign then I’ll quit Free Republic. No PACS, no fund raisers...uses the wealth she has acquired since quitting.
If say she needs to buy a house in AZ with cash she gave Bristol to have a base of operations in the lower 48 she has that money. If she wants to buy say a nice set of clothes to rub elbows with the PM of India next month she has the ability and there doesn't need to be 15 stories about how much she spent on the subject.
The money she raised in 2009 and 2010 allows her freedom to run the campaign the way she wants to. It allows her to bury certain expenses off the books. Like for care for the children, security, wardrobe or any number of things.
If Palin did not make money last year she would not be able to run a primary campaign. Look at huck and see how that turned out. but you know continue with the double standards. I see no other GOP candidate's wealth being talked about. And all of them are rich.
Like I said, Palin is not close to being presidential material and your blind support for her is foolish.
