Yesterday Ann Coulter might have unintentionally, or possibly intentionally, let it be known that Sarah Palin will not run for president in 2012. Everyone has made their own best guess on whether or not Palin will run, but Coulter may have access to more "insider knowledge" given her position as an established conservative commentator. In an interview with Sean Hannity last night Coulter said that she "loved" Palin, but also took a slight verbal jab at the former half-term governor of Alaska. After praising Palin, Coulter goes on to say that she does not think that Palin will run for president. Hannity counters by saying that Coulter is "unnecessarily narrowing the field" and that Palin has publicly said she is still considering a run. It is at this point that Coulter reveals, "I think she's saying that because she also said Newt Gingrich told her you can get higher speaking fees if you pretend you are running for President." At this point things get awkward as Hannity tries to cut Coulter off (video to the left).

If you are not a Palin supporter than you should be “hopeful” not “concerned” that she will make a mistake. But we know you had a talking point and you thought is was good so you pushed it and got busted for it. You continue to dig a hole and show that your original post was nothing but “concern trolling” trying to push the anti-palin narrative of the day.
So you just said you don’t think the any Gop candidate can win why should anyone care what you say after that.
Maybe rather than anti-gun I should have said he was not a strong proponent of the 2nd amendment.
From an October 2009 interview:
HANNITY: Are there any issues where you are, quote, moderate to left as a Republican?
CHRISTIE: Listen, I favor some of the gun-control measures we have in New Jersey.
HANNITY: Bad idea.
CHRISTIE: Listen, we have a densely-populated state, and there’s a big hand gun problem in New Jersey. Now, I don’t support all the things that the governor supports by a long stretch. But I think on guns certain gun control issues, looking at it from a law-enforcement perspective, seeing how many police officers were killed, we have an illegal gun problem in New Jersey.
HANNITY: Should every should every citizen in the state be allowed to get a licensed weapon if they want one?
CHRISTIE: In New Jersey, that’s not going to happen, Sean.
HANNITY: Why?
CHRISTIE: Listen, the Democratic legislature we have, there’s no way those type of things listen, at the end of the day, what I support are common sense laws that will allow people to protect themselves, but I also am very concerned about the safety of our police officers on the streets, very concerned. And I want to make sure that we don’t have an abundance of guns out there.
But listen, the issues in this race are taxes and jobs and spending.
Let’s not forget that Todd is a Union worker I believe. I wonder why she chose not to go to Wisconsin to support Walker and the folks that showed up in his support.
I wish Palin would of spent the last year learning more about foreign policy, studying hard. She has been a mover and a driver all over America with her books, book tours, etc. I believe, she should have gone full throttle on every news station, and not just post on facebook, her opinions and viewpoints.
In other words, she should of studied up, then gone balls out, to the news media....I think facebook opinions, writings are good, but she should of been doing more....
Personally, I'd like to see any and all GOP leaders in WI, then in OH. Jesse Jackson and the Dem union thugs are there. If nothing else, it's a show of solidarity.
OK. I don’t agree at all. Like Napoleon, who lost Marengo early in the afternoon, then won it by evening, we’re a heckuva long way from the point of no return.
Mason-Dixon
Rasmussen
In no particular order, those would be the top three. Again, I can't find any---even some of the GOP polls that aren't "straw polls"---that have her within 5-6 points of Obama. I wish it were different. He shouldn't even be competitive with ANY Republican, but it should concern people when, as bad as he's doing, Palin doesn't have a lead (nor do any of the other Republicans right now).
Better yet: go to “realclearpolitics.com” (polls) and you can see the last 30 or so polls on almost any race.
Well, yes. Exactly. What did Reagan do in his “down” time after movies? He developed a clear set of ideas on communism, the economy, guns, virtually everything. He had his research down pat. Have you heard “A Time For Choosing?” He doesn’t let up-—one statistic after another. Then, after the governorship, he spent his weeks personally drafting position papers that he read on his radio addresses on everything from the environment to nukes.
You are an idiot. Anyone that disagrees with you is a troll or uses talking points? LOL!
I have been clear that IMO Palin is not presidential material. She is not articulate IMO and I don’t want her as my president. Those are my opinions, and they are shared by a many other conservatives and the polls show it. If she ends up being the nominee (which I think is very unlikely), I will however vote for the pro-McCain Palin as anyone would be an massive improvement over Obama (or any other dem in the unlikely event that Obama doesn’t seek re-election).
Coulter is a little jealous of Palin. Palin exudes beauty and confidence (even when she is thrown off in interviews, she is still confident within her own skin). Coulter thought her ultra-skinniness and long blonde hair would get her where she wants to go forever, but it’s getting old. She has no spouse, no family, which makes her seem unlovable (for more than a weekend). All she really has is a very fast, clever mouth, and that has only so much appeal.
Palin is deeply conservative and can express it well, even if she doesn’t have wicked quips on her tongue all day like Coulter. There is no way Coulter can acquire the kind of female appeal Palin has, to both men and women, and Palin doesn’t have to put herself in teeny minis with her long hair draped over her shoulder like Coulter. It’s like Palin is Woman, without trying, and Coulter is Tranny. She only has the superficial accoutrements of sexiness, while Palin has the depth of feminine appeal that will last her into her 60s. Coulter started looking “rode hard and put away wet” at 40.
You say you see no one able to beat Obama. Fine. That is your view and as such it deserves about as much consideration as the stuff in an outhouse. If you think no one can beat Obama then give up and go hide in a hole.
Palin brings many strengths that you fail to point out. Fund raising, excitement, strong supporters, ability to talk with instead of at people, strong family, strong work ethic, years of political engagement in office and out of office. A strong fiscal record and great accomplishments.
Instead you want to talk about DWTS? Yeah your view is “mainstream” if and only if your are a Daily Kos reader.....
WI is a state issue. I would rather the GOP leaders take the fight to the nation and allow Walker to handle the WI issue. He seems very capable and doing a great job. If Palin goes to WI it becomes a defacto fight between her and Obama not about unions and taxpayers.
Do I need to quote your original post and your “concern” talking point?.
I also see with each post a little more hate leaks out. Keep posting. Now Palin is pro-mcCain? But I thought you said you agreed with her positions? Does that mean you are pro-mCcain too?
Go back and get better talking points. You are beginning to contradict yourself.
No talking points and yes Palin is pro-McCain. She refused to support Hayworth and instead campaigned for the POS Juan McCain Furthermore she’s made it clear on several occasions that she agrees with McCain on most issues (including his position on illegal immigration). As far as talking points go, I’m beginning to think that you and some other Palinistas are actually working for the DNC. They are desperate to have the GOP actually nominate a candidate that Obamaturd might be able to actually defeat...
You are starting to bore me unseen. As soon as Palin announces that she won’t be running for president, you can go crawl back under your rock.
To: LS I hear ya LS. While I may agree with Palin on most issues, she doesnt light a fire in me anymore. Part of it is her inability to quickly articulate her positions in a way that doesnt sound contrived. I find myself tensing up and almost sitting on the edge of the sofa when she is interviewed for fear that she is going to say something well....stupid. It brings back strong memories of how I felt every time GWB spoke.
I'm glad I am starting to bore you maybe then you will stop changing your story with every post. Your post at #66 was a talking point that was/is going around the net. You pretend to like Palin in your post and say you agree with her positions but are "afraid she will mess up". Then when called on it you change your story to never liking Palin. when called on the disconnect between posts you dig yourself deeper and accuse her of being a McCain clone , don't find her presidential and think she is the worse thing since slice bread. As I said before your "concern" is touching and nothing but fake. Go peddle you fake concern talking points somewhere else. is axelrod paying you to spread your fake concern on FR?
Never said I never liked her and I do agree with her on most issues, just not the more liberal ones (the pro-McCain issues). As far as being on the edge of my seat when she speaks, I think many others clearly understand what I’m saying. She seems always on the verge of simply falling apart when taken off script.
Now go away, as I said you completely bore me with your DNC marching orders.
ROFL.....keep trying to square that circle. You agree with her but she is a McCain clone.......yeah makes perfect sense. I wonder if you even know what your position is on Palin since it’s all over the map in this thread alone. But I share your “concern”
Dam Axelerod needs to get a refund from you.....you are not up to his standards....
