I know that there are some Freepers who buy from Honeyville Grains, so have any of you brought Honeyville Meals?

They are on sale right now for $159.99 and with the present %10 coupon that would make it $144.00. That's just a bit less than $1.75 a meal!

Has anyone brought Honeyville Meals? No, I wasn't supposed to bring anything. It was stated on the invitation.

That's a good deal too, but I like these because they are individual packing so they be good if you had to move fast or for a BOB.

I think it is similar to the Mountain House stuff. Which, btw, is excellent even if a bit pricey.
They had the MH stuff at a local store last summer, and I tried a couple. Quite good! So I went back to buy more but it was all gone, they used the shelfspace for holloween, which was still 1 1/2 months away.
So I asked them about it and they said they consider it a seasonal item for summer because of camping, etc, and had put the remaining stock in the back.
So I bought them out! 115 bucks and they sold them to me 1/2 price and I got like 40-45 different packets, mostly entrees, but some breakfasts.
I know what U mean about feeding a family cheap, I must have easily over 100 lbs of rice, beans, egg noodles, etc stashed and tons of those dried gravy-in-a-packet deals.
But even that would get old, so it would be nice to have a really good entree once a week or so just to break the monotony.
