Michael Scheuer says that Obama should have kept his big mouth shut on Egypt. Appearing on the Glenn Beck show on Wednesday, former CIA analyst and Osama bin Laden expert Michael Scheuer was part of a three-man panel to discuss how well the Obama Administration has handled the Egypt quagmire. Anyone whos ever heard Scheuers comments on Obama with regards to foreign policy knows that Scheuer does not give the president anything close to high marks. So it was in keeping with that mindset that Scheuer blamed Obama for screwing things up with regards to both sides in Egypt: the protesters and Mubarak. His advice for the Big O? Both he and Hillary Clinton just should have kept their clumsy mouths shut on the issue.

Guess the won never thought that Saudi Arabia and OPEC might very well punish us for aiding and abetting those who would threaten their kingdom.
Is there a gas crisis in store for us?
Jimmy Carter redux.

Was surprised to hear Scheuer on a CNN panel this week say that the sooner the USA dumps Israel, the better, because it antagonizes the Muslim nations. He certainly never reveals his anti-Israel stance on Fox, so he appears to be another paid shill trying to get media gigs.
Actually, he said the same thing on the Beck interview on Wednesday. I was very surprised. (Eric Bolling was subbing for Beck that day).
He must mean that discretion is the better part of valor. But of course they cannot let intellect override the impulse to not let a crisis go to waste.
Of course there isn’t any way for this to turn out as a benign experience, at best, without doing any real work that requires real leadership and persuasion skills that they don’t have. Bummer’s egotistical need for credit is going to blow up in his face and cause a whole lot of heart ache in the long run. He is a domestic and international menace to us and he needs to go.
This week the University of Kentucky removed The Holocaust from its school curriculum because it “offended” its Muslim population, which claims it never occurred. This is a frightening portent of the fear that is gripping the world and how easily each country is giving into it. It is now more than 65 years since the Second World War in Europe ended.
obinga reminds me of a baby robin, every time it hears a noise, it opens its mouth and begins squawking.
Well, I just read about VMI sponsoring an event CELEBRATING the Muslim invasion of Spain in the 8th century - which according to them touched off centuries of peace, love and joy. Of course, it did no such thing - Christians were killed or enslaved, Jews were essentially hostages, churches throughout Spain were destroyed, native learning and culture was nearly snuffed out and entire regions of Spain were depopulated as people fled the Muslim hordes). But if a place like VMI is sponsoring an event like this, I’d say the US is already in way more serious trouble than we known.
At least there were some voices that spoke out against Hitler prior to WWII, but there seems to be absolutely no one who dares say a word against the cruel, evil cult that is about to swallow us in darkness.
Oh, my God! Where are the demonstrations? Where are the condemnations?
Scheuer has been around for yrs & always been a jerk. I think he’s called himself an expert on every country in the middle east, including Iran, and he’s far from it. He’s had people fooled for yrs.
Eric Bolling needs to stick to financial stuff and stop pretending that he’s some kind of foreign policy/political pundit. I can’t stand watching him spout what he THINKS is fact about world affairs.
Sutoro and Rodham now own Egypt
Exactly, FOX Business is being ruined by tripe
Eric should stick to commodities futures and Judge Napolitano should go back to a courtroom somewhere
Cavuto rules! But he should just do all the talking instead of trying to pretend like he is listening to a panel of talking heads who each get to say 2-3 sentences before being cut off
After applying some google-fu, it APPEARS that the Univ. of Kentucky DID NO SUCH THING.
Scheuer should keep his big anti-Semitic mouth shut about Israel.
Where did you read about this? That is just downright irresponsible.
It was posted on FR yesterday, but IIRC, there’s also something about it on the VMI website. They’re proud of it.
