Baking soda in water is what I take. Helps cut down on acid reflux. Also apple cider vinegar works to.

A lot of chemists seem to think that the promotion of "alkaline water" is a scam:
link.
Their objections seem to be valid, although I haven't read of one of them actually testing what is in the water that comes out of these "alkaline water" generators.

Weird.
Tap water is genarly delivered at a rate of 6.9 to 7.2 acidity.
The article basically the claim that drinking water with those PPM’s is optimal.
But, Whatever, they are already receiving that same water from a tap.

Alkaline water is healthful, but the machines that produce it are expensive. The multi level marketed machine is over $4,000 and its direct to the public competitor is over $1,500. Also, the main benefits of the water do not last long once it is produced from the machines.

The same result can be produced from relatively cheap mineral charging for a fraction of the price. The minerals are dropped into cheap filters or plastic sticks. They can be purchased for as little as $90. In addition, the primary effects from the mineral charging lasts longer and have as good or better healthful benefits than the machines.
Here is one of the more popular products of this sort:

Every few months there are new supplements or whatever, that are all the rage and most of them equally bogus.I remember a study that was done on all these “sport” drinks and the one that was found to be superior to all the others was chocolate milk!
