An angry man riding a mobility scooter plunged to his death, after he rammed an elevator door. The unfortunate incident happened at a shopping center in Daejon, South Korea. The 40 year old man who's name was Lee, obviously had a problem with his anger. That anger, for what ever reason, has been his undoing. You will see the man reach the elevator just after the woman inside pressed the button to go down. Seconds after the doors closed, Mr Lee reached the elevator and actually ran into the doors because he must have anticipated that the woman would hold the door open for him.
Here's the link to the video of the, Man in Scooter Rams Elevator Doors & Falls Into Shaft
The Korean’s name was Lee. That narrows it down.
I usually don’t watch videos like this but was curious .... he definitely knew he had broken the doors (you can see into the shaft and the doors are kind of just hanging on the sides) yet he backed up to ram them again. That’s when he went into the shaft. All I could think of was the poor lady who had just used the elevator, but hopefully she went up instead of down so that he didn’t injure her.
Maybe he did think the lady was holding the door closed on purpose, but it seems there was a LOT of time between when she entered and the doors closed and when he appeared??
Hellevator alert
Oh, the humanity! Somebody sharing a video along with their commentary and hoping to maybe get a click out the deal. What a dirty scum.
I wonder if the guy’s name was Leland?
Not that it matters, but I’m curious as to what floor he was on, originally.
What a fool, he rammed it 3 times!
She does go down in the elevator. The doors have windows and when the guy first pulls up you can see the elevator descending through the windows.
“He scared the childhood bully right out of me.”
We need those guys to visit our schools today, don’t we?
Thanks, didn’t notice that. But it also proves that the lady was not inside just holding the “close door” button on purpose to make the man angry. So basically he lost control for no reason other than he was at the door too late and it closed.
Sad.
Wow I am not the only freeper that loves Tosh! Cool.
There are very few, if any, South Korean chi-coms.
So, what's your point? South Koreans can't be upset about Rush's Chicom jokes?
Why not? Plenty of folks in this country (who aren't Chinese either, by the way) were all up in arms about it.
