Keith Olberman is a prissy little dandy who divided his time on MSNBC between self important temper tantrums and sniveling at the boot of those in power, and it was in this spirit that he left his cushy job on Friday, a job that was paying him 7 million dollars a year in exchange for getting his ass handed to him in the ratings.
One reason he reportedly left was money. He felt underpaid, and probably thinks MSNBC will come crawling back now that hes flexed his might and shown how irreplaceable he is.
Or:
"MSNBC is looking to find a new marquee star for its growing brand, and sources tell me their ultimate wish list is topped by none other than Alec Baldwin. Hes already part of the NBC family, has a huge fan base and is very respected for his long term passions for politics, a network source tells me, adding that Alec is very high, perhaps even No. 1, on the wish lists of MSNBC bigwigs."

I don’t believe this for a moment. Alec Baldwin will not leave 30 Rock for this. Just like the lie about him leaving for France when President Bush won the presidency. I guess I don’t like when people lie on either side.
Bull Sh..!
Alex Baldwin is an A list TV/movie star.
Why would he give all that up for this?
Where is the /s or /BS or /hurl ?
Alex who???
Good! We’ll never hear from him again.
Bull Biscuits!!..
Baldwin is just as or more wackier than Blabbermann.
This could get ugly. Where will Lefties go to get their hate-fix if Baldwin doesn’t take Olbermann’s gig?
Herds of vacant-eyed radicals will be wandering the streets, specks of froth spotting their lips, muttering Olbermann’s greatest hits to themselves.
Bwahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahah(gasp)hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!! ....>
“Yes, it's something that I'm very, very interested in,” Alec, 52, answered when the governor-turned-host asked if politics was a “game” he wanted to enter. “To quit (acting) now when it really feels good and doing it feels good would be an enormously difficult thing to do. However, I do believe that people want to believe that someone who deeply cares about the middle class ... would like to seek public office.”
“A friend of Alec's tells me that if he opts out of politics (and acting, of course), a career as a cable news opinion host would suit him perfectly.”
ROFLMAO
Will he invite his beloved daughter to do Cameo spots?
He's got a might big ego and likes to spout off the dem talking points...
I can see it. Baldwin is an idiot, which puts him head and shoulders above Olberman in terms of intelligence. And unlike Olberman, Baldwin does show (rare) instances of sanity...
Hmmm...
Olby fancied (read: sincerely believed in the delusion) that he was the real-life incarnation of Howard Beale. One wonders how long Baldwin would be on the air before he started thinking he was Jack Ryan. Or maybe his character from Glenngarry, Glenn Ross.
Y’know...I might just tune in for an on-air “coffee is for closers!” meltdown...
Dang it!@ I just bought this new keyboard!
A - Always
B - Be
C - Closing
