Todays statement from President Barack Obama:
Today marks the 38th anniversary of Roe v. Wade, the Supreme Court decision that protects womens health and reproductive freedom, and affirms a fundamental principle: that government should not intrude on private family matters.
I am committed to protecting this constitutional right...

And this is from the guy that gave us ObamaCare, the most intrusive law ever passed by Congress?!? Can we use Roe v Wade to strike the whole thing down?

It annoyed me when the media made a big deal about the 50th anniversary of the inauguration of JFK. I don't even know if that was a big national news story, but in MA, people went crazy for this magical 50th anniversary. I've never seen such a stupid thing to celebrate.
But this? 38th anniversary? Thirty-eighth?? How random can you be?
To: MintyHippo1980
And born ones. He is the one who stood up in the Chicago legislature for abortionists being able to kill babies that had somehow survived the procedure and were still trying to live.

How good democrats were aborted? How many great inventors, writers, reporters, scientists, doctors, etc. were flushed? The solution to economic woes might have gone down the drain. The cures to many dread diseases too. The price inestimable. Just to call wrong, right.

Has there ever been another communist dictator who spoke this openly about his desire to help butcher children?
I don’t recall Stalin or Pol Pot or Mao ever being this open....

Random? Every additional year over a million babies are murdered. The anniversary is a day of mourning and each day this continues the wrath of God grows stronger and His patience wears thinner.
To: huldah1776
Well, yeah. As someone who is strongly pro-life, I think every year -- every day -- is a good time to mark this abomination and make sure that people understand the magnitude of this evil.
But a pro-abortion person? Celebrating the 38th anniversary? I just think it's weird. There is nothing special about that number. 35? 40? If they like abortion, then throw a party then -- but making a big deal about year 38? I don't know what to say.
I guess they glory in their depravity.
To: MintyHippo1980
His birth certificate will confirm that he’s a b*****d; we already know that he’s complicit in mass infanticide.
To: huldah1776
Random? Every additional year over a million babies are murdered... Amazing...murdering babies is a private family matter.
I wonder (foolish me) where the principled line is drawn in regards to "private family matters"...for example, why is abortion a private family matter, but domestic violence is not?
The only difference I can see is that unborn babies are not a voting bloc.

Mr. Obama and every liberal supporter of abortion, is no better or no less wicked and guilty, than the late-term abortionist Kermit Gosnell, arraigned yesterday for the murders of one abortion patient and seven new born babies along with a host of other charges. Then Mr. Obama praises 38 years of sniping babies spines on the altar of women's rights.
Read the Grand Jury Report and weep. This is just the tip of the iceburg on abortion atrocities. This must stop now.
