Now that Newt Gingrich is officially running for President, I decided to do some research and to see who the former Speaker of the House really is. The political is good, the polling is bad, and the personal is downright ugly.
Campaigns
Gingrich was elected to the House of Representatives eleven times (resigning after the 1998 election), his only two losses came against a popular incumbent Democrat in the 1974 and 1976 elections. When he was elected Speaker of the House in 1995 - it was the first time in four decades that a Republican had been able to reach the coveted legislative post.

Were the dems to play up his poor treatment of his wifes not three females in America would vote for his sorry ass.
Now put him in as Sec of State or Defense and then you may have something.
Over the years he has become just another RINO.
Newt made a terrible endorsement true. But then he also agrees with the kooks spouting the man made global warming crapola.
Newt sold out a long time ago and is a part of the problem, not the solution.
“The GOP Establishment needs to understand that the same old, same old is no longer acceptable to the voters. They need to lead, follow or get out of the way of the new blood that is emerging, much as the result of the Tea party phenomena. if the Establishment cannot see this, it is time to move them out of the way.”
You got that right. Newt is just another inside the beltway RINO elitist looking to finalize the NWO. He will reform nothing.
Newt’s status as a member of the GOP establishment alone should disqualify him, let alone his belief in “global warming”.
We need to remember that it has been the republican establishment that has destroyed many true conservative candidates in order to continue their agenda. We need to get behind a true conservative and not let another rino like Mcain,Romney or Gingrich be forced upon us. My choices at this time would be Palin, Bacchman, or Herman Cain. Not perhaps in this order and not excluding other true conservatives. the POINT being that we need to chose a true constitutional conservative and let the powers that be in the republican party KNOW that we will settle for no less. Just examine the main stream republican gov of california to see how far our party has left true conservatism behind
STAND TALL
>>I can no longer vote for the lesser of 2 evils. Evils is evil and Im done with it.<<
Agreed. So far the only two I see that have strong conservative principles and have stuck to them through some of the most vitriolic slander from both sides of the isle are Palin and Backman. They dont waffle to try to appease or fall for the politically correct crap. Both are strong on fiscal and social issues without apology and neither backs down from their Christian ideology.
Those are the only 2 I will vote for. They have NEVER “wishywashed” against any of their principles.
If our country needs to “go down” so be it. However, I will not go down without a fight.
.we don’t need another “professor”
He is not a good tactician when it comes to out maneuvering the press. He still craves his 15 minutes of fame in the limelight.
Worse, he's an establishment RINO that has already demonstrated his ability to sell America down the tubes. Americans don't need this turkey.
Newt, your time is up. Go back to your think tank and help out there.
