To read some of the reviews telling Sarah Palin it's over as to any hope of winning a general election, you would think she would be down in the polls versus Obama by an enormous margin, particularly if a poll were taken in the days after the Tucson shooting when the media was in full blame mode tying Palin's electoral map to the shooting.
But if this poll conducted January 9-12 by Greenberg Quinlin Rosner, a Democratic polling firm, for Democracy Corps is accurate, Palin is down 10% among voters and 6% among people who vote in 2010:

“Huck also has more upside potential, and has been pretty careful not to make the wrong enemies.”
Well tell that to the four dead cops in Seattle. This will be Huckasquirrel undoing.
As for Mittens RomneyCare sealed his faint to the dust bends of history.

In all seriousness... what Palin supporter would be demoralized by this? This poll was taken after the country had been told that Palin was an accomplice to murder. Even that aside, 10 points almost 2 years out is NOTHING! We’re talking about Obama here, the golden child. I thought he was up 20 points? All I can say is that this is proof she should run. Hell, if you’re only down 10 points (6 points among those who voted in 2010) wouldn’t you be crazy not to run? This is heartening to me!
Another thing: everybody is so demoralized that Obama is up to 49% on ras. 49% for a sitting president that the media actively promotes. You call that good news for Obama?
Palin 2012.

I actually think we should be heartened with this kind of poll.
Bambi now has a record, and he won't be able to hide easily as last time, particularly if we have a candidate who is willing to fight him as Palin has. He is vulnerable.

I agree with you. I was responding to a poster about what the GOP establishment would be pushing. I think Huck's Willie Horton is more easily dealt with than RomneyCare. Allcandidate's have strengths and weaknesses. Huck can say he learned from his horrible error in judgment. Romney has tried to make a ridiculous distinction between statewide Obama/Romney Care and a national version. It is not only overly subtle, it is wrong. But, if Palin runs, there WILL be an "anti-Palin" who will be anointed by the Establishment faction. It would be better if there were two, as there were in 1980 (Bush the Elder, John B. Anderson).

I'm wondering why they aren't telling us McCain is ready for a come-back...

Pulling this trigger takes 2.
I'm lazy.
