Dan Rather forged a document to try to derail Bushs re-election. It still amazes me that no one really cared about this.

Total and whole hearted agreement : The PTB on the left (media, academics, and political figures) talk about people like me like we’re subhuman-and now they want US to take a civil tone?!??!! They couldn’t silence us using the Race Card, so now they’re trying the ‘civil’ card.

Well said. I’d take it a step further, being the war-monger that I am. I WANT the left to physically lash out against innocent people because then I’d be within my rights to return fire.
Screw them and anyone that looks like them! They are the enemy of freedom.

“from the election of Bush 43 forward,”
BS. The libs and the Democrats have been lying and cheating long before that.

This echos my thoughts exactly! I always said the Left went nuts after they lost the 2000 election.

Exactly, it is their latest tactic to censor free speech. They have been waiting for this event for years to claim we are violent and this is what they were after. They can dish but can’t take.

Because Eric Holder and barry the bastard can at present restrain reaction to the violence their dupes in the union and green thuggery are planning, look for the ‘riots’ to be staged int he next two years. If they wait until the criminal Holder and the bastard are out of powewr, their rampaging will get them killed like the vermin they are. The next two years as planned by the thuggery now in the white hut will be interesting to watch. BLOAT is the best advice I can give right now. There are disturbing episodes rushing toward US.

“I have been screamed at for 10 years.
Its my turn now. I am not going to scream back. But I refuse to allow anyone to dictate what I say or how I say it. I refuse to allow the same foul-mouthed, foul-spirited foul people who dumped on me to now try to tell me what I may or may not say.”
When the Leftists started blaming every one on the Right for the Giffords massacre the Right wasn’t shy about screaming right back at them. This is just another example of such.

So far, I have seen insufficient evidence that the GOP wishes to really stop Obama's push into Leftist tyranny. The GOP, IMO, still doesn't get it, and still sees the Tea Party as the biggest threat to the country.
Whether we want Palin, Bachmann, DeMint, or whomever, I think our candidate of choice is going to have to fight both political parties and the media. Very tough fight to win.
To: radioone
You are right. No "civil" discourse. This is liberal, Orwellian double-speak for censorship and prior restraint. We will not be silenced, we will not be controlled. FREE SPEECH, FREE SPEECH, FREE SPEECH!
The First Amendment is non-negotiable.*

Actually, non of the Amendments in the Bill of Rights are negotiable.

Some will say by lowering ourselves to their level, we are no better than them.
Yes we are.

We are witnessing the 'alinskying' of the American Public by the Media and Liberals. If you wonder what that is, READ the book, ..."Rules for Radicals" by Saul Alinsky. Which starts out this way:
Opening page - Dedication
Lest we forget at least an over-the-shoulder acknowledgment to the very first radical: from all our legends, mythology, and history... the first radical known to man who rebelled against the establishment and did it so effectively that he at least won his own kingdom Lucifer.
Prologue
"The Revolutionary force today has two targets, moral as well as material. Its young protagonists are one moment reminiscent of the idealistic early Christians, yet they also urge violence and cry, 'BURN THE SYSTEM DOWN!' They have no illusions about the system, but plenty of illusions about the way to change our world. It is to this point that I have written this book."
The Purpose
"A Marxist begins with his prime truth that all evils are caused by the exploitation of the proletariat by the capitalists. From this he logically proceeds to the revolution to end capitalism, then into the third stage of reorganization into a new social order of the dictatorship of the proletariat, and finally the last stage -- the political paradise of communism."
"An organizer working in and for an open society is in an ideological dilemma to begin with, he does not have a fixed truth -- truth to him is relative and changing; everything to him is relative and changing.... To the extent that he is free from the shackles of dogma, he can respond to the realities of the widely different situations...."

I’d rather hear this on NATIONWIDE TV than Obama’s SOTU.
Question: If this speech ended up on Obama’s teleprompter, would he mindlessly read it ?

The expectation is absurd.
