The picture itself is truly disturbing.

From the New York Daily News online, in an exclusive news report, which includes this picture, from what I have heard this afternoon from conservative talk radio show host Rush Limbaugh, the parents took down this human skull replica today as well as local police closing the street off to the news media where Jared Lee Loughner’s home is located.

This does not surprise me at all. Even looking at the picture of the shooter Saturday night after the shooting had given me a sick feeling.

Finally something logical. It was not Sarah, Rush, Obama, Ayers, or anybody but the kid and the devil. Man it took four days to get it right but FINALLY they have the two culprits.

The Kid and the Devil. In fact, I want that to be the movie’s title.

Now hopefully this story can be put to rest and let these folks have their funerals in silent. Of course that poor 9-year old’s family has to deal with the wackos from the Baptist Church. Great I am sure that will be another couple stories to deal with.

Yup.

Well at least we’re comforted to know creeps like him living in their parents basement can be covered on their parents medical insurance for a few more years...

You’re pushing the liberal line - that he’s mentally ill. The left didn’t do this for Timothy McVeigh or any other suspected conservative AND I’m NOT buying it for this killer.

I dunno, if he’d been a bit more clever he probably could have gotten an NEA grant.

The shooter is a 22 year man old with emerging schizophrenia. He's crazy. That's it. There are many people like this and they do a lot of damage. And we do a very bad job dealing with them. The discussion in the press should not be how we could have stopped this one shooter. It should be about how we can better identify people like this with serious mental issues and get them off the street.

To correct you, I am not pushing any liberal line, none at all. YES he is responsible for the honor he did, but also what he did was against the laws of the God of the Bible and for this, it must be pointed out.

I have gotten to know people who have had to deal with mental illness and in NO WAY are or were violent despite the burden of mental illness. This simply goes beyond mental illness and is simply an EVIL ACT was done.

Yes, he is responsible. However, mental illness does exist. When I was a police officer some of my most difficult cases involved young schizophrenic men. While many think that we no longer put crazy people away in the loonie bin, we actually still do. But not enough of them. There were red flags. But they were missed and he was out there.

Not only that, but I think I saw an email purportedly from his Mother, that she tried to have him committed.

Again, people who have mental illness, must not use their illness to do crime, because it not only hurts the good name of those who manage their mental illnesses in a responsible manner, and as I had said, I have befriended, but it such folks who are a DANGER not only to these who want to get back on track with their own lives, but a DANGER to the general community.

Also I thank your service to the community and YES, those who are a true danger NEED to be LOCKED UP. This was a BIG MISTAKE of the liberal community.

That is why it was a BIG MISTAKE to have closed the institutions. Sadly, it takes a violent criminal act to force any placement in an institution.
