A suspected illegal alien was arrested Monday after a vehicle chase involving Angelina County and Nacogdoches County authorities.
A Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission officer attempted to pull over Osman Estuardo Carpio, 33, Monday evening at U.S. 69 north and FM 2021, as he was a suspect in an earlier hit-and-run, according to Angelina County Sheriffs Office Lt. Bryan Holley.
He hit someone and there wasnt major damage to the vehicle, but the lady called 911 when he left the scene, Holley said. We put out an attempt-to-locate on the vehicle and within a couple of minutes he was spotted.
Carpio refused to stop for the TABC officer and continued north on U.S. 69, according to an arrest report. He then turned onto state Highway 7, heading toward Nacogdoches, with the TABC officer, the Texas Department of Public Safety and Angelina County deputies in pursuit. Speeds during the chase topped around 60 mph, Holley noted.
They told us that with the way he was driving, he almost caused five other head-on collisions and about six other accidents, Holley said.
Carpio continued several miles into Nacogdoches County, where he ran into road spikes laid by Nacogdoches deputies, the arrest report stated.
His vehicle came to a stop after he hit a car parked on Highway 7.
His tires didnt even have time to deflate before he hit the car, Holley said.

Cost of doing business in the New World Order.
Why in the hell is TABC doing making traffic stops?I know they are Texas LEO’s but still, TABC doing traffic?
Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission officer
What in the world is that? There are special cops just for alleged alcohol infractions?
Meanwhile a herd of illegals crossed over under cover of this diversion...
Yup, they harras all the bar owners to make sure their papers are in order. But, they are just as much a Texas LEO as a DPS officer or even a game warden.
He would have never gotten away with driving across two counties in Louisiana.
