When I was growing up, my parents taught me that if you want people to think youre smart, just shut up. They didnt encourage me to shut up completely maybe they should have but the lesson was: never talk about things you know nothing about and people might think youre smart.....
.....For several years now, the elites have been trying to fool us in believing that two people, one on the left and one on the right, are very smart people. On the left, we have the President and on the right, we have Charles Krauthammer. We are being led to believe how smart they are but if weve learned anything in the past year, it is that both of them may be a lot of things but smart isnt one of them. Both appear not to have learned this lesson: if you want people to think youre smart just shut up.
In July 2009, in trying to defend Henry Louis Gates, President Obama started out by saying that he didnt know the situation and that he hasnt seen all the facts and yet in the same breath, he went on to accuse the Cambridge police of being stupid. If the President was really as smart as we are led to believe, he would have just done what smart people do: shut up!
This brings me to Mr. Smarty Pants Charles Krauthammer. Yes I call him Mr. Smarty Pants because thats all Mr. Krauthammer is. Anyone that can go on a marathon degrading someone he knows nothing about is anything but smart.

It’s straight from the researched article at the link. All true.
You’re arguing with a PDSer...LOL. The links are well reserched by the author of the article. I merely cut and pasted directly from the source at the link.
We really have ourselves a conundrum here, don’t we?!
The problem is if Gov. Palin dosen’t run, who will we be stuck with? The more likely candidates are all go along to get along beltway disasters in my opinion. Gov. Palin can be the firebrand all she wants but if it isn’t backed up by the eventual candidate...whats the use?
I love her show but how many people is she reaching with it?
When she does commentary on Fox News, how many people is she reaching? Chances are she is reaching the same people... you and me. We’re already on board. I guess thats one problem with having 800 channels to choose from. How do you broaden in hostile territory? Unfortunately I would have to assume that more people are getting their opinions of Gov. Palin from sources where she isn’t getting a chance to reply.
Overall, I think more important in the next 6-12 months is what the new Congress does. If they can defund the crap passed in the last 2 years and anything Zero trys to end run through executive power then we still have a chance. If not, I don’t think it matters who we run in 2012 and nothing Gov. Palin says or does is going to be able to change that.
I agree.
What if Liberals come out with some ludicrous pronouncement like “Limbaugh Is Not Qualified To Have An Opinion About Obama”.
We would know they are nuts!
The ignorance on display here is embarrassing. The Palindrones have outdone themselves this time.
Happy New Year.
now there was a smart man.
Ditto.
Krauthammer was born on March 13, 1950 in New York City.[3][4] He was raised in Montreal, Quebec, where he attended Herzliah High School and McGill University and obtained an honors degree in political science and economics in 1970. He was a Commonwealth Scholar in politics at Balliol College, Oxford, 19701971. He later moved to the United States, where he attended Harvard Medical School. Suffering a paralyzing diving accident in his first year of medical school,[5] he was hospitalized for a year, during which time he continued his medical studies.[6] He graduated with his class, earning an M.D. from Harvard Medical School in 1975, and then began working as a psychiatrist at Massachusetts General Hospital. In October 1984, he became board certified in psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.[7]
Yea he is a useless POS idiot. /s
Can't Palin take any scrutiny? You Palinistas are always trying to make her out to be Ronnie. Let her undergo the same scrutiny he did and let's see if she stands up.
One question. How do you know what he does or doesn’t know about Governor Palin?
I believe CK blows hot and cold all the time. He is a Republican of the moderate type. At times he is right on, other times he is befuddling. He is paid for his critique. If I don’t like his opinion, I ignore it.
I doubt his opinion really changes many minds.
hey onyx add me to the ping list on Palin if you don’t mind.
thanks
Just as Israel hated Ronald Reagan they fear what they don't know.
But thanks for bumping this thread so everybody gets a chance to see the proof.
The shows opening nights (SUN)has avg 3.47million viewers over the 7 weeks. That is not counting all the repeats of each weeks show during the week so figure maybe 1 -2 million more watch it at a different time.
It will be coming out on DVD in Apr is figure another million or two that don't get TLC that would like to watch it. Total it all up and the show should reach anywhere from 5-7 million households. If you figure that the show is a family show that means that the final numbers could be around 7-12 million people with about 9 million of those being adults of voting age.
Now that doesn't seem like much in a country of 300million but if you look at the total votes for McCain in the 2008 primary he got about 9 million votes to win the nomination.
And if it was just the show I doubt that would be enough but you have 2 books which have sold around 3 -4 million copies. You have her appearances on foxnews that gets an avg of 3-4 million viewers per day and you have her almost 3 million facebook followers. As well as twitter. some of these are sure to be overlap but I would say out of all these different venues Gov Palin is most likely reaching a large % of the voting primary public with her message unfiltered by the MSM.
And for those that want to use the "polls" as evidence of her negatives he is a simply rebuttal:
A recent Clarus poll was apparently designed to promote the candidacies of moderate Mitt Romney and a liberal mayor, Republican Michael Bloomberg, and diss Mike Huckabee and Sarah Palin. Just below, has to be one of the worst polling questions in the history of presidential politics. If you had to pick between the twowould you prefer the next Republican presidential candidate be a moderate conservative who has a good chance of beating Barack Obama or someone who is an outspoken conservative who has only a fair chance of beating Barack Obama? It is unclear whether folks taking the poll were also forced to choose between the following two descriptions: 1. A moderate, pragmatic conservative 61% 2. A staunch, outspoken conservative 29% How do I loathe thee? Let me count the ways. 1. The initial premise is flawed. Whenever a poll question forces you to choose, (had to pick) it is quite certain you are being had. 2. The question pairs ideas in a manner deliberately created to push one kind of candidate over another. Notice that the moderate candidate is presented as having a good chance to beat Obama while the conservative is only given a fair chance. If a respondent to the poll believed that the conservative had a better chance they would have no place in the poll to make the case. The poll also asked voters to vote in a three-way race between President Barack Obama, a Republican (Palin or Romney) and Michael Bloomberg. Romney did better than Palin in comparative races, for obvious reasons. Palin is unquestionably considered more divisive than Romney at this time, but it is quite doubtful anybody outside of New York even knows who Bloomberg is. This question at best shows a general disdain with party politics, and could not possibly indicate a positive attitude towards Bloomberg. All of this shows not only the futility of putting too much stock in polls generally, but also the need to be aware of the shenanigans going on behind the scenes. Polls like these are not only unscientific, they are downright deceitful. http://caffeinatedthoughts.com/2011/01/who-do-those-pollsters-think-they-are-fooling/
If rush did a show on Obama as unprepared and unresearched as CK has been on Gov Palin he would rightly be seen as being unqualified to talk about Obama. Rush is the king of talk radio because he puts in the painstaking hours to research that of which he talks about. If Rush doesn't know something he states clearly he knows nothing about the subject but gives his opinion based on his past experiences.
I didn’t see or hear anything from either of them that hadn’t already been discussed by Betsy McCaughy early in the debate after she found rationing boards in the bill. That was around the time of all the Townhalls on the Healthcare bill.
That is who I credit for pointing it all out.
from the link if you would click it.....:
Well Mr. Krauthammer, if it was fair to ask Governor Palin what it is she reads, it is only fair I ask you the same question. What do you read? Have you ever read anything Governor Palin wrote before you went on national television questioning her gravitas or qualifications? Of course you havent, because if you claim you have, then youd be guilty of plagiarism.
In August 2009 Mr. Krauthammer wrote a column where he started off by asking Governor Palin to leave the room. Then he spent the rest of the article writing exactly what Governor Palin wrote just days before.
On the night of President Obamas 2010 State of the Union speech, Governor Palin was on Fox News reacting to the speech. The next night, Mr. Krauthammer was on Special Report essentially repeating Governor Palin word by word.
Either Mr. Krauthammer never reads Governor Palins columns, in which case by his standards he is as stupid as she is, or he just plagiarizes her every word.
If Mr. Krauthammer had actually read anything by Governor Palin, he would know that Governor Palin has covered every single topic and issue facing the country.
so being MD now gives you the ability to be a political pundit?
I already did and posted above.
Who cares what Charles thinks? I only like him when he thinks and says what I like to hear.
Otherwise I ignore him.
Grow some thicker skin.
