Interesting analysis, but I’m left wondering what his central message was. Was it a contrast between Romney and Cain in order to boost Cain? Or was he using Cain as a club to bludgeon Romney?

It’s really just to make people think a little more about what makes someone qualified to be president.

Doctrinaire Conservative. Created jobs for people. Has precise solutions to today's serious issues. My choice by far.

...I did pause and wonder if a radio host would be qualified to be president...

If a 'community organizer' can be president, ANYBODY can be president. Bring him on!

There isn’t a comparison. By his achievements and career, Cain is far better qualified to be President than Romney. The problem is that every likely GOP voter has heard of Romney; only the audience of WSB and its affiliates have heard of Herman Cain.
That’s a pity actually. They guy is brilliant.

Oba-Mao is going to leave such a scar upon America, and a trail of damage and criminal destruction that will last for decades. People, even the most politically ignorant of which, will never look at the presidency, and the Washington government in general, in the same light EVER AGAIN!

I see this as good in a twisted way. The Oba-Mao disaster, and how Washington is IGNORING IT, is a disaster that we as a country, probably needed to wake up the complacent and invigorate the ignorant. People need to be involved in thier government and learn what the criminals and America-haters are capable of doing to it. Liberty and freedom have always come at a price. It must be fought for. That has never changed. This needs to be realized.

“Our Constitution guarantees us the freedom of speech, despite those who seek to limit it. We have the freedom to practice our chosen religion, despite those who mock it. We have the freedom to peaceably assemble, despite those who protest our goals. And we have the freedom to bear arms, despite those who want to outlaw them.” - Herman Cain

Herman Cain rocks. He is a real person, a normal person, someone who is attached to reality. I don’t care for Romney. Here is a link to listen to Cain’s radio show in the evenings.

Having witnessed the election of The First Novelty President™, I am convinced that dhimmicrats would vote for an overripe rutabaga if it had a (D) behind it. I won’t obsess over what lunacies they indulge in, but rather pay keen attention to what our side is doing.

What I recall from ‘07 and ‘08 was a milling around of people hoping for some sort of knight in shining (conservative) armor to ride up and save the day. No only did that not happen, but one by one the pubbies rejected all the “best” candidates until all they had left was McCain.

There wasn’t much for conservatives or republicans to rally around. We mustn’t repeat that mistake if we want to kick Øbongo to the curb.

I don’t know much about Cain. I don’t know how serious this talk of him running is. I don’t know if he has an exploratory campaign started or if it is all trial balloons.

I do know that I don’t want a ‘pet rock’ candidate, and sure as heck don’t want an affirmative action candidate. I will do more research on him.

Caine is the first person in the “list” so far, that I really like....not one of the retreads from last time is worth a krap. So far, though a long way off, and we don’t know everyone hanging their hat in the ring...Caine/Palin or Palin/Caine....like to see a DeMint in there somewhere too...a ways to go, who knows who else will jump in.

I’m wondering, though...will any criticism of Caine by liberals automatically be considered racism?

I hope he starts out all of his speeches with the words...

“I am Caine” {kung fu reference}

Romney is a RINO, which makes him unqualified to be my nominee or POTUS. Being qualified does not involve what school a potential candidate attended. One should regonize that with our current situation. I’m sure that our fraud and chief’s minions would have a field day with Romney ensuring zero’s re-election. Look for even more of a push by the lamestreams to pick Romney as the nominee...........

I had only heard of Cain on FR...I have since viewed videos of his speeches; I really like this guy; his biggest obstacle to be competitive and a winner, would be name recognition. This normally takes more than two years...but it can be done, as demonstrated by Obozo. Herman Cain has my vote!
