It looks like she was inspired by Family Guy - “It’s a Trap!”

“An ABC official says that while the town hall would last 45 minutes, only a minute or two would make it on air.”

Translation: “A minute or two of statements taken out of context would make it on air.” (Comrade Marx is still in his high perch of honor.)

IMHO

only a minute or two would make it on air.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- As Stalin noted, the power is not who votes but who counts the votes; likewise for TV appearances, it is not that you are interviewed but who edits the interview.

The libs should start having suicide bombers on their shows, at full blast. At least there’d be a bit of real-life drama instead of just drama queens...

Their individual and collective response should be to say “Who?”, when her name is mentioned. When pressed, they should still feign ignorance of her, asking whether she is a “lobbyist”, “actress-activist”, or “Democratic party spin doctor”.

“Is her show on cable or the Internet?”
“Didn’t she used to be one of John Edwards girlfriends?”
“Didn’t she used to be one of Ellen DeGeneres girlfriends?”

Why would anyone with half a brain conscent to be interviewed by an over-the-hill has-been harpy whose only goal is to set a trap for the interviewee?

Given the heavy amount of editing those 2 minutes of the interview that are going to make it on air are likely to undergo, they shouldn’t agree to do it unless independent cameras are there to record the interview. So that all the out-of-context statements can be shown in full context on other venues.

Katie Couric got awards for making Sarah Palin look bad (through insidious editing). I am certain that Ms. Sawyer wants some of those awards for herself.

Too bad she never had BO on for a 45 minute grilling on his Marxism when he was running for President.
Any freshman GOP member who shows up for this shrew’s show is not smart enough to hold his office.

No doubt edited down from 45 minutes to just the juicy parts.

Juicy: Sucking Tea Party freshmen to disagree with each other on some obscure issue. Then convince us, their supporters, to to take sides and make the obscure issue the litmus test.

Juicy: Trick Tea Party freshmen into saying or doing something stupid, or that appears stupid on pop culture or other non-issue.

Watch a pattern for the next two years:
Someone will have an inarticulate moment when they will say the word “niggardly” or some other banned word. Then it will be demanded of the rest of of to exile that inarticulate person. In every way possible they will try to divide and conquer.

For example, I am more free market capitalist on immigration than some freepers. Other Tea Party people disagree on FAIR tax vs FLAT tax, or on which federal department to eliminate first. The enemy will try to convince us that that one issue on which we disagree is so important that it should be a litmus test to exile others from our movement.
