Here in New York, anyway. Looks like a hazy sky.
Looks like it may be starting here! I don’t have a telescope set up or binoculars, but it seems like the points between 10 and 12 o’clock is starting to darken...it’s 12:40 am right now, 54 degrees in the northeastern DFW area!
Binos are great. Darkening at the corner? now. How does a round have a corner?
Able to watch through the clouds.
Well, I've been saying "this is my last tour" for about four years now. So, yes, this is my last one, can you can take that however you want. ;-) (My dad now says, "Yeah, right.")
I see on the news that the moon is eclipsing now. Are ya seeing anything cool?
A very Merry Christmas to you, too!
Too much cloud cover now. I can’t see squat.
We have about 1/4 eclipse.
I am off to bed.
“...points between 10 and 12 oclock is starting to darken...”
Interesting I didn’t think of correspondence in direction of shadow moved with viewing point on Earth. From Bay Area Cal position on moon shadow bagan was 7 o’clock.
Pretty clear here. thin clouds.
I can still make out lunar craters and mountains, but I cant stay awake LoL.
Half eclipsed. Bright clear skies.
Halfway now. Can view only through breaks in clouds.
I'm clouded out now. Looks like there are some high level clouds being penetrated and some thickening low level clouds blocking the view. Guess I'll see it later in pictures.
Over to the east of you, in the foothills of the Sierras, it is now cloudy again and the moon is covered. I was hoping to be able to watch but no way now.
Can’t view the eclipse anymore, but I should have no trouble “viewing” the menu at the 24-hr. McDonald’s down the road.
Nothing to see for the clouds so I’m dropping out. Night all.
I was standing outside earlier listening to a pack of coyotes howling at the full moon. I love to hear them.
I’m lucky here in Southwest Oklahoma. It’s clear as a bell.
Beautifully clear night in Orlando. Spectacular!
LOL, when I went back outside and changed my viewing position, I was thinking, wait a minute, the top corner was dark and now it’s the bottom left corner! What’s up with...oh! Never mind!
Galileo I ain’t, LOL. Having a lot of fun trying to hold my rinkydink digital camera still to take a picture—getting all kinds of funky images because it’s chilly out and my hand is shaking—
Bare sliver of the lighted part of the moon showing now at 1:33 am!
I’m outside of Lafayette, and I see absolutely nothing right now.
