You have to be kidding right? You do know gays have been serving in the US military for years? The only difference now is they don’t have to hide the fact they’re gay.
This is gonna be a train wreck.
It’s been more than 4 decades since I was in the military; someone correct me if I’m wrong on this, but openly heterosexuals were not allowed to have sex with other members of the armed forces when I was in. You’d be up for nonjudicial punishment before you could blink an eye...
Is that going to change? Or has it?
I’m still looking for the actual roll call vote on this so I can make a record of it to save for the next election cycle. I sincerely hope we can inform enough people to get rid of those who vote against America once and for all.
Give it 2-3 years - they will have PINK TANKS!!! Believe it! Wait till the Army has Gay Pride day!
Now along comes the rebels and deviants and poke their finger in His eye and foist upon US what He had penned long ago homosexuality was/is and will always be an abomination...
But the rebels will continue to bring US down and some of the people swooooon.
More zots here.
I used to have comfort that in a SHTF sit, our ouw troops would obey the Constitution and side with the America people.
but now....a predominate gay brigade from San Fran, placed in duty in a Red State area....I’d say they Obey the orders from an Obama to fire on the people.
I understand that in WWII, known homosexuals were drummed out of the military and often beaten up and taunted by their fellow soldiers.
who among us would send our young 18 yrs away to a place where their safety and peace of mind in the barracks is not assured?
Welcome to homorabia!
ATTENTION:
Now that DADT has been repealed the following barracks codes will be implemented:
MAW men attracted to women
WAM women attracted to men
MAM men attracted to men
WAW women attracted to women
BAA bisexuals attracted to anyone
MAA men attracted to animals (located furthest away from K-9 units)
MAC men attracted to children (no contact allowed with local civilians)
That is all.
Hmm... Navy boot camp,ca. 1980. Eighty young women living in a barracks, in a large room with lots of bunkbeds and lockers. A large bathroom, with toilets and sinks in one room, and a shower room with maybe 12 stalls in another. The young women were given maybe 15 minutes to shower, which meant they were showering 2 and 3 to a stall, because there just wasn’t time to take individual showers.
It is just as inappropriate to put open lesbians into such an environment as it is to put young men in that environment.
After basic training, many young enlisted have to share barracks rooms with one or more other people. If it is inappropriate to put members of the opposite sex in such living arrangements, it is equally inappropriate to put homosexuals into such arrangements.
This has nothing to do with discrimination. Not wanting to room with a lesbian is no different than not wanting to room with a man—and it doesn’t mean the lesbian is any more an object of hate than a man is.
Given the lack of privacy in the military, there are valid reasons for not wanting gays to join.
The Few, the Proud, the Queer..
Place all homosexuals to one unit document results.Wonder what the murder rate would be?.
Lesbians .32%
Gay Men .70%
I don't understand why such a TINY minority can cause this much discussion. If we were talking about 30% of people or something like that, then there should be a discussion. But statistically speaking, .7%? It is not even significant, you have to get to 2% before there is any statistical significance. This shouldn't even be a discussion.

This repeal is going to back fire big time. Up until now the US has a volunteer army, but this will change as the numbers of volunteers shrink because of this repeal. congratulations Libs; you will have brought back the draft!
Heard the new version of the Christmas Classic?
“I saw Daddy kissing Santa under the Christmas Tree”.
Meanwhile, as a MA resident, whaddya think the odds are of Deval raising taxes again due to our dire circumstances.
Just a rhetorical riposte.
