I don’t understand Obie saying they have gone to Hawaii for Christmas for years...because I don’t think the girls had met his grandma....years in a row....

For a free trip to Hawaii, I think I could make do ... oh, wait, what am I thinking. It’s not a free trip, I am paying for it as a tax payer, and I won’t even get a post card.

I was prepared to be outraged by the special treatment when I looked up details on Hawaii’s quarantine policy. As it turns out though, Hawaii has revised the policy in recent years and it is possible that Bo is entering Hawaii without a special waiver.
From Hawaii’s official website:
“The program began as a 120-day quarantine and in 1997, a 30-day quarantine alternate program was approved (abolished in 2003).
A Five-day-or-less quarantine went into effect on June 30, 2003. This quarantine program allows pets to be directly released at the airport if the pet owner follows strict procedures prior to the pet’s arrival in Hawaii.”

American Airlines is a business. They use less fancy models of this, so of course it's a business jet. obama will take a crummy old C-25 business jet out there, because he's really cool and he cares.
It’s a modified passenger liner. The 737 is the most ubiquitous airliner in the world, IIRC.

No it's a Boeing BBJ (Boeing Business Jet). So not technically a lie.
It's just people hear "military version of a business airplane" and think "Learjet", not something with an MTOW of 78 tons (the 757-200 is 115 tons)
