More than 50% of Americans say they are worse off now under Obama. According to a new Bloomberg poll, a majority of Americans believes that they are worse off, today, under Obama than they were two years ago, when Obama had just been elected. Giving the president another headache that is sure to compound his political problems is the number of Americans who responded that they thought the US was headed in the wrong direction. 66% of all Americans think that the US is right now headed in the wrong direction. Another gloomy note for the president is that in just the past two months, the number of Americans who have grown more pessimistic about the future of the country has grown.

Sad but almost comical. I wonder if it is the Obama supporters who are “worse off” or his “enemies” as he called them.

I can deal with being “worse off” but more to the point, the Republic is worse off. That to me is intolerable.
The only ones who aren’t worse off are the nobama family who have now set themselves to be on a major gravy train for the rest of their worthless, destructive lives. Such grifters!

50%. Probably the folks who pay taxes, or used to when they had a job.
Government workers are, IMHO, not worse off. Probably doing better than any other segment. Reminds me of when I went to the USSR. Those that were best off worked for the government mostly as stool pigeons and instruments of their government’s heavy handed policies. Communism involves a lot of bribery to get off the ground.
I know I am worse off. Went from a good paying job to one that bearly pays the bills. I have a small business I started that is making a profit (thank god) but now I am burning the candle at both ends with 70-90 hour weeks.

That number will climb next year...those on SS will receive less money than this year...wealth sharing for Medicare D.
