Government workers are, IMHO, not worse off. Probably doing better than any other segment. Reminds me of when I went to the USSR. Those that were best off worked for the government mostly as stool pigeons and instruments of their government’s heavy handed policies. Communism involves a lot of bribery to get off the ground.

I know I am worse off. Went from a good paying job to one that bearly pays the bills. I have a small business I started that is making a profit (thank god) but now I am burning the candle at both ends with 70-90 hour weeks.
