Here is video of Louisiana GOP Gov. Bobby Jindal telling MSNBCs Chris Matthews that he has no intentions of running for President in 2012. Jindal was unequivocal in his declaration that he will not seek the Presidency in the coming election cycle, but will instead run for re-election as Governor of Louisiana. Matthews had speculated that Jindals new book signaled he intended to make a run for the GOP Nomination.

How is it Jindal’s fault??
Well she is not going to and she will run and she will win and there is NOTHING that you and your bot buddies can do about it.

Has there been any improvement in your business situation?
Cheer up. There are about 5 states that are passing legislation which will require all presidential candidates for 2012 to submit the long form birth certificate. Obama cannot win if he is not even on the ballot in 5 states.
No he is not constitutionally qualified by being born here. If that was true every anchor baby in America would be eligible to be President. That is not “Natural Born”. The accepted definition of “Natural Born” is born on US soil of 2 citizen parents.
Not a bad move. Steering Louisiana successfully through the recession, on top of his many prior successes, will position him well. A Cabinet office under the next Republican President would provide even more seasoning. This is a guy who can really get things done and we badly need for him not to peak too soon, a la Palin.
Hi V,
I am trying. Business is still horrible but I have turned over my worries to JESUS. There is nothing that I can do but do my best. The economy here in Mississippi is in depression. Shuttered business are becoming the norm. At least I am still open and will be here after the holidays.
I am worried about this anti American dream act... but our defeated blue dog dim voted against it yesterday and Wicker and Cochran are voting against it, so not much that I can do here. I did call several Senate offices this morning and I sent several faxes.
Merry Christmas to you and yours and thanks for the response!

“No he is not constitutionally qualified by being born here. If that was true every anchor baby in America would be eligible to be President. That is not Natural Born. The accepted definition of Natural Born is born on US soil of 2 citizen parents.”
Rubbish. If that were the case the Constitution would have said so. “Natural born” means one is a citizen at birth rather than naturalized later, and that is all. Under current law, which I support changing, every single anchor baby is indeed eligible, as are people born overseas to American citizen parents.
B-bu-but, if The Mombasa Moonbeam is telling the truth about who his father was, he is just plain ineligible because the commie bigamist paternal unit was not an American citizen, regardless where on the planet BHO, Jr. first appeared.
OTOH, I half-expect that by the time someone requires an actual Birth Certificate, it will show that Don Ho, Willie Mays, or Johnnie Mathis was the bio-pa. Hence, the "embarrassment" everyone is always hinting at!
I have to hand it to Team Obama for a masterful campaign of smoke, mirrors, misdirection, and press agentry, making this about a "Birth Certificate." Of course an early 60s Birth certificate from Hawaii, which is a far less reliable document than a Honolulu Dog License of the same era, could also prove that our fearlessly ineligible leader is The Lost Dauphin dela Belle France.
In those days, a Hawaii BC was anyone's for the asking, and false statements and witnesses to "home births," etc. were common.
OK. Now let's see the BC. What a mess!
Sincere thanks for helpfully and succinctly laying out the case for the other team.
My team says the Constitution lays out a scale of increasingly restrictive qualifications for the various elected Federal Offices. It admits any other type of citizen to any office, providing various residency requirements are met, reserving only the Presidency to
In re:"anchor babies:" Automatic granting of citizenship to the offspring of illegal aliens, or indeed any alien, is NOT a law. It is a by-now stupid custom of this country, alone BTW, among civilized nations.
It would be a bold move for Bobby Jindal to publicly state that because his parents were not US citizens at the time of his birth, he does not believe he is eligible to run for president or VP. He wouldn’t have to say anything about Obama but that would really put the spotlight on the usurper.
Let's nominate a 35+ year old "anchor baby" for President and see what happens. I'm confident you'll learn something new.
Natural born means to descend from the original citizens that were made after the ratification.
Natural born means from the same family, offspring, race. Natural is a Kind it comes from the word gecynde.
The Founders limited the Presidency to natural born citizens a meaning that has been misconstrued over the years.
The 14th Amendment gives citizenship..not natural born citizenship.
Since Obama’s mother was an American Citizen so he could be born in Kercpapistan and still be an American citizen.. Jindal was born on American soil that makes an AMERICAN CITIZEN BY BIRTH.. Same thing with Rubio.. His parent came from Cuba and became American citizens automatically.. Plain and simple...
There is a big difference between a citizen and a natural born citizen. Suggest you read the threads on this subject.
“I think he would make a great president. “
I agree.
We need the “Not this s*** again” graphic.
His *mother* is not running for office. Jindhal was born a US citizen, ergo is a natural-born US citizen.
“Im not so hot on Bobby Jindal after Joseph Cao voted for the DREAM Act last night.”
That’s about as dumb as disliking Palin because Lisa Murkowski supports DADT repeal.
Cao is in the most liberal district any Republican officeholder has held, got defeated and is on his way out. His views are not related in any way to Jindhal’s.
[If Palin didn’t run] .. “The liberals and RINO elitist establishment types will have won.”
...not if we get a conservative nominee.
Alas, with Jindhal out of the running we lost one very credible contender.
... and Jindhal is both a citizen and a natural-born citizen, being a US-born US-citizen from birth.
Suggest to you stop misinforming people with your incorrect and wacky claims on the topic.
