96%. Why unhappy Democrats can't primary Obama.

George Soros is unhappy :(.

You see, all of his liberal/progressive/leftist causes are being thwarted by Evil Americans who are too dumb to know that radical socialism and prison-like government control is really good for them. They elected Republicans en masse, and now Obama has no hope of any leftist agenda the next 2 years.

So he is pouting to big donors that they shouldn't support Obama financially. $ is a key factor in Obama winning the Presidency: he could afford to get his message out, hire workers in his campaign, etc. Money in a campaign is also a self-fulfilling prophecy: more $ looks like a winning candidate, less $ looks like a loser.

Other Democrats think Obama shouldn't run in 2012 as well.

So will someone else, a fearless Democrat, point out that Emperor Obama has no clothes and face him in a primary in 2012? Someone might, a true believer who doesn't think Obama is leftist enough (rolling eyes). But what number are Democratic-insiders most afraid of?

96%...

Democrats don’t fear them voting Republican...they just fear they won’t vote.

In many races around the country, Blacks not turning out will be a loss of 20 House seats for Dems.

That adds up in election after election.

Well, probably true. However, blacks should realize the true ‘DEMOCRAT Politician’ for what it is. THEY are steadfastly working to replace this loyal 12-15% of the population (blacks) with Hispanics (both legal and illegal). With this sector secured, the 12-15% won’t matter.

Exactly! See what kind of bind Democrats have put themselves in?

If just criticizing Obama is racist...so how would Blacks react if other Democrats wanted to FIRE OBama by primarying him?

They are stuck.

The first sentence of the article says “liberal/progressive,” but that’s an oxymoron, since liberal ideas don’t cause progress. Liberal ideas ruin our country, and conservative ideas cause progress.

Different demographic though, and Hispanics are not tied to the Democrats as firmly as Blacks are.

Also, that’s why GOP has upcoming Hispanic politicians like Rubio.

You see what happens when AMNESTY is implemented and then tell me. There are more illegals here than anyone is willing to own up to.

“If the dems “primary” TFBP (the first black president), they will lose their plantation voting block.”

yeah it will never happen. Hillary never had a chance from the beginning.

You're right. The Dems also fear the end of tampered inner-city voting precincts with the usual dead people, dogs, and mega-voting. It's rare that 120% of their electorate happen always to vote for the Dem in any given race, but they manage to pull it off ;-)

They’ll still have that, but in districts where people are actually watching, a drop in the Black vote will have significant ramifications for Democrats.

Talk about yer’ chickens coming home to roost!
The Libs have brainwashed black people into believing that anyone who disagrees with THEIR politics is a racist and NOW the Dems are gonna have to find a new candidate!
I’ve always maintained obama will resign or not seek re-election due to phantom health concerns.
The fact that he smokes will add a sense of veracity to the lie.

That’s 96% of ~15% of the population - a vote most sensible ‘Pubbies have already written off.
Blacks are just not that important electorally.

The reason ‘Pubbies write off the black vote, is that, normally, the Dems pick up ~85% with no effort on their part.
So we’re really only talking about a change of ~1.65% to the overall vote.

I don't know, Trotsky and Stalin were on the same "side" but didn't get along so well toward the end...

These people *do* tend to hold purges and execute each other. Often.

It would be interesting to see TPTB dissolve into open warfare at this level. Wikileaks would be a shopping list compared to what could come out from either side.

Libs on my facebook express disappointment with Obama and say they’d like someone more “progressive” in ‘12. Obama the neo-Con, eh? Sure, run someone even more to the left and
lose all but the far left voters = GOP prez... Go ahead.
Make our day.

My point is simply that despite any infighting, their goals remain the same.

Two of the last three democrat presidents (Clinton & Carter) were governors. Therefore, some Democrats who should run, in 2012, are Sen. Tom Carper, Sen. Evan Bayh, Gov. Ted Strickland, and ex-Gov. Howard Dean.
