Here is audio of Karl Rove talking to Laura Ingraham where he blasted Sarah Palin and Mike Huckabee for their recent comments characterizing the Bushes (George H.W. and Barbara) as elitists, and bluebloods. Palin used the term bluebloods after Barbara Bush said in an interview she hopes Palin stays in Alaska.
Rove was asked what he thought about Palins and Huckabees remarks, and he flatly said it was unnecessary. Rove said Barbara Bush is entitled to her opinion and she deserves respect. According to Rove, Palin would have been far better off to simply say she loves the former First Lady and move on.
Laura Ingraham came to Palins defense, telling Rove that the point of Palins remark is that the elitists dont want Palin to run.

Karl Rove is singlehandedly going to destroy the Republican party between now and 2012 if he keeps up this nonsense.

Boy, I wouldn't know why Tokyo Rove would be defensive about the Huckster and Sarah hitting the Bush clan?

Everyone knows they are bluebloods, Palin is just voicing the popular and correct sentiment.
Rove is in a hissy fit because the “Rockefeller Republicans” are finally falling out of favor like they should be and we are seeing a much needed resurgence of Goldwater/Reagan republicans.

GHW Bush had his private secretary write Rove a note probably to complain from the Kennebunkport estate.

Barbara Bush is “entitled to her opinion,” and entitled to throw it out there first - but Palin is not entitled to her opinion or a reply?

I’m sick of hearing Karl Rove being a guest on Hannity’s show.
Go away Rove, your 15 minutes are over.

Karl Rove is singlehandedly going to destroy the Republican party between now and 2012 if he keeps up this nonsense. He damn near destroyed it between 2000 and 2006.

I like rove but he’s way off base here. Sure Ms. Bush is entitled to her opinion - however divisive or stupid. But so is Palin or Huck. By his own logic his comments are equally “unnecessary”.
