I don’t disagree with you that she’s fighting back. The problem is the MSM is not going to cover it. We can sit on FR all day and night and defend Palin on this. The problem for Palin is that independent voters don’t read FR or Redstate.com or Michelle Malkin. The independents get their news from Saturday Night Live and Jon Stewart, neither of whom are going to defend her because there are no laughs there.
The MSM convinced voters that Dan Quayle was an idiot. The accusation stuck. They convinced voters that Newt Gingrich was evil. The accusation stuck. Sarah Palin has been defined. It’s over before it’s begun.
Palin is advancing the front line in this war. I don’t see anyone else up there.
The only alternative to fighting is to accept defeat.
Sarah Palin has been defined. Its over before its begun.
If Sarah had no control over her message, and no access to the tools of mass media, I might tend to agree with you, but that's not the case.
Sarah regularly reaches the broad public through the tools of new media, and even with her published editorials in the establishment media.
The MSM and the establishment left see her as an enemy, and treat her accordingly in their output. Not everyone is swayed by their scurrilous portrayals of her, because they've either grown to distrust the MSM for the Democrat shills they are, or because Sarah herself is reaching them directly through new media channels.
Independent voters, whom you feel have been so thoroughly brainwashed by the MSM, just shifted right and handed the Democrats an historic ass kicking. Yet somehow, these same Independents are sour on Sarah Palin, the very face of the Tea Party right, in your view. I think your logic is flawed, friend.
That you're convinced that the MSM is in control of Palin's image, and the fact that you believe so strongly in their power to control the minds of the public, is disappointing, to say the least.
