I knew Kmart would be on the “FOR” Christmas list, having their own Christmas song and all. “Christmas at Kmart”, by Rootboy Slim just captures the entire holiday spirit for me.

Don’t forget parent companies. While Bath & Body Works marginalizes Christmas, Victoria’s Secret is anti-Christmas. However, they are both owned by Limited Group. If we avoid Vickie’s and opt for BBW body lotion instead, the money is still going to a company that doesn’t advertise Christmas.

Latest Victoria’s Secret catalog prominently has on the cover “Christmas”. However, a letter to Customer Service came back “we try to take everyone’s feelings into account in the holiday season”.
Huh?

I work for a company on the “good” list, so I hope that our competitors on the “bad” list suffer.

I’m willing to bet that 100% of local gun shops are Christmas Friendly (well maybe except Dearborn MI).

Limited used to be owned by the Wexners (Jewish family) so that would make some sense. Now it’s owned by private eq.

Do you have a link for your info? I searched the ADF and can’t find the particular lists you posted and would like to use them elsewhere. Would be greatly appreciated!

Boy I will say you are right. I walked into my local TJ MAX and they had a beautiful display of nativities for sale in a main aisle. Not stuck in the corner as if they were ashamed they were there.
So that is a store that will have my dollar.

Nice that you posted it here but it was easier for me to read in the OP's link.
I really don't get why some of you guys have declared war on anyone that posts to the blogger's forum and links to the blog. It isn't against the FR posting rules and we are all grown up enough to make our own decision as to whether to click on their link or not.
If there are rules here that are being broken, then by all means, let's expose it. Otherwise, it's just bullying...and annoying.

"...you guys have declared war on anyone that posts to the blogger's forum and links to the blog."
That is absolutely NOT true.
The objection is to those who use FR as a free advertising platform, and FReepers as a source of revenue.
In most cases, you will find purloined material, false claims of authorship, misrepresentation of sources and excerpting, not for the purpose of copyright protection, but simply to drive traffic away from FR.
Bloggers who post original content, links to their sources and properly credit the work that's been done are most welcome. If you really examined the forum carefully, you would see that there are many Bloggers who are never called out for these practices. And you would find the same posters you refer to as "some of you guys" supporting their work. Enthusiastically, even.
And, I haven't even touched on the issue of these blogs being filled with spyware, Trojans, adware, malware and trackers. I've clicked some of these links and had so many alarms go off that I had to shut down and do a restart. People come to FR for News in a safe environment, not so that every jerk who rips off a YouTube video can hit us up for a buck ..... and a bug.

Wow! all that, eh? And it's
still not against the FR posting rules!
And until it is......it's just bullying.
