Michelle Malkin offers a scorecard of GOP Senators who remain uncertain as to whether they should oppose the nightmarish DREAM Act, a bill that has been kicking around for years, but now has the urgency of a liberal lame duck congress to pass what amounts to a 2.1 million future Democrat voter recruitment drive before years end.
Topping the list is none other than our own Arizona amnesty architect, Señor Juan McCain, now ditching the A-word for the focus group winner: Guest worker. Safely ensconced for another 6-year term, he is once again a-free-from-restraint, open-borders agent.
His staff says he hasnt made a public statement and hasnt made up his mind. Those of us familiar with McCains duplicity, scoffed at this tough border talk, as he fretted over the assault on his right flank lodged by conservative former Congressman J.D. Hayworth outspent by $22 million. McCain talked a tough border security game to get re-elected, while simultaneously promising illegal alien activists he would resolve their issues.
McCain is a practiced liar who, as we have seen, will do or say whatever it takes to get his ticket back to D.C. punched. Arizonans should hang their heads in embarrassment for allowing themselves to be duped by reelecting this shameless shill who has preened in the elite Club of 100 for nearly three decades, while accomplishing precious little.
Scroll down under the names and phone numbers of the undecided (who need to hear from you), to read Ten Things You Need To Know About S.3827, The DREAM Act.
Arizonans can find additional pertinent information here.
The people of AZ who are not brain damaged (maybe) should be ashamed to keep voting for this poor guy......
Somewhere on YouTube is a video of McCain in a short-sleeve shirt campaigning in Arizona last summer, speaking to a bunch of “Hispanic advocates” and standing in front of a Mexican flag. Anyone who believed a word he said during the campaign is seriously deluded.
“McCain will be defecating on this nation for at least six more years”
I’m wondering if we have even that long, the way things are going.
People in my state elected Reid again. Most off them are liberal transplants but there it is.
We all bend over backwards for this guy in 2008, and he has to turn on us, like always.
All he has to do- from his position at least- is say he’s voting no on the DREAM Act unless the Dems put guaranteed provisions in it to ensure the “damned fence” will be built, that sufficient troops will be put on the border, that immigration laws will be enforced and subject to severe penalties against the Feds if they aren’t, and that ICE will do its job in deporting illegals...The Dems would never do any of this of course, so he and other Repubs looking for an easy escape hatch would have one.
Juan is waiting for his wife to give him back his old balls, as soon as the queer thing gets settled. Hillary won’t give him one.
“I support [McCain’s] position on immigration.”
SARAH PALIN, 27 MAR. 2010
Everyone understands that VP picks are called upon to tout the agenda of the person who picked them. Most people can reconcile this fact about Palin and don’t have any problem squaring her conservatives positions on a myriad of other issues. Today, for instance, she advocated profiling at airports—not exactly an amnesty-favorable ancillary. She wanted to campaign in Michigan too, and McCain didn’t want to. His people called it “going rogue,” in fact. (Two years later, how did Michigan vote?)
But if everytime McCain cuts a fart someone wants to blame Palin for how bad it stinks, so be it. There’s no reasoning with the agenda-driven anti-Palin cackle at this point. I’m probably the fool for trying.

Even some here on FR.
Amen. MCInmsane is a duplicitous S.O.B
I wonder how many of his voters from Arizona are ‘stunned’ at this news? Lying bastard.
McCain has lied about this numerous times. He was for amnesty, then claimed he never was, and now this. Just shows how bad the republican party had been when they trotted this out for president.
And my US Representative is the 6 term liberal idiot (are those terms mutually exclusive?) LLoyd Doggett—what can I say?
Most of Texas is not liberal. True residents of Nevada are not as well. We just get liberal jerks who move here because they screwed up states they lived in and moved on.
Thank you Sarah. Thanks so much.
People of Arizona elections have consequences.
SOME idiots in Arizona put up with the open primaries as well. Touche!
I sent three figure money to JD and was just as disappointed to find out that all would be for naught with the realization of your open primary system. What does one say about glass houses?
Get out there and organize to get them closed, then you will have a real chance of self determination without the peanut gallery screwing up the works.
The Reconquista Dream act. The Don Juan love affair with illegal latinos.
It’s a nation killer if it passes. We’re already walking the tightrope with open boarders and 50 million squating leaching scumbags illegally in the country.
A vote for Juan was a vote to KILL THIS COUNTRY.
Sarah really disappointed the hell out of me by supporting this SCUMBAG.
AZ deserves the border problems they voted for. McAmnesty can come out of the closet.
