America at the Point of No Return

Too many Americans are unaware that the repeal of the U.S. military’s Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell (DADT) policy is the tipping point and the point of no return for religious freedom and traditional normalcy in America. Once DADT is repealed, Americans will be required to positively affirm and accept homosexuality as legitimate sexual behavior; and their First Amendment right to freedom of religion and the free exercise thereof will be abolished by anti-discrimination laws protecting sexual preference or sexual orientation.

In the preface of Aldous Huxley’s popular dystopian novel Brave New World, Huxley accurately predicts the demise and inexorable enslavement of an American society preoccupied with instant gratification and satiating its sexual appetite.

“As political and economic freedom diminishes, sexual freedom tends to compensatingly increase. And the dictator … will do well to encourage that freedom. In conjunction with the freedom to daydream under the influence of dope and movies and the radio, it will help to reconcile his subjects to the servitude which is their fate.”—Aldous Huxley

Huxley’s negative utopian novel was meant to be a parody of the popular optimistic utopian novels of the time and a warning to rationalists and civil libertarians to oppose the hedonist, nihilist culture being created by socialist engineers to diminish political freedom and economic liberty.

In George Orwell’s 1984 dystopian society, the socialist Party benefactors manage the culture by invoking fear and inflicting pain on the masses; conversely, Huxley’s social engineers manage their culture by invoking desire and inflicting pleasure on the masses. The inhabitants of Huxley’s brave new world are obsessed with pleasurable entertainment to excess, but are sorely lacking in self-respect, civility, common decency, moral conscience, and social constraint.

Huxley understood that to pursue pleasure at the expense of personal responsibility would lead to decadence, and decadence would lead to destruction. For a society to withstand tyranny, it needs a fixed moral compass and strong nuclear families. However, when a society acquiesces to hedonistic pleasures and lifestyle luxuries and abandons its traditions of morality and family cohesiveness, it succumbs cheerfully to tyranny, or as Huxley envisioned, a tyrannical World State.

The electorate’s failure to oust Senate Democrats, which allows them to maintain power in two of the three branches of government, indicates that Americans in some states have abandoned self-government for an elitist shadow government. Leading up to the election, leftists brazenly carried out their progressive agenda before an uneducated, laughing public that didn’t know why it was laughing or that it stopped thinking.

Americans will continue to undergo a metamorphosis in their social attitudes toward homosexuals. The mass media will continue to depict homosexuals in the most favorable light possible until the Biblical and traditional injunctions against homosexuality have been superseded by a new set of social norms and mores.

Unfortunately, only a few Americans have “seriously thought through the implications of open homosexuality in the U.S. military and what it means for the rights of religious believers and cultural traditionalists.”

Leftist Democrats don’t need to implement a fairness doctrine to push for public recognition and approval of the homosexual lifestyle on talk radio; the guests and personalities have been carrying the water for them. The most influential political figures on talk radio, Rush Limbaugh, Glenn Beck, and Sean Hannity, seldom, if ever, discuss the special rights and privileges afforded homosexuals or the health issues connected with the homosexual lifestyle.

America’s cultural elites have corrupted the mass media, psychiatry, science, and academia to establish homosexuality as a normal and acceptable variant of human sexuality. America’s elites have used their power and positions to promote the notion that being homosexual is as genetic as being left handed or having red hair.

As society’s moral arbiters and protectors of homosexuals, the elites have colluded with the mass media to promote homosexuals as victims in need of protection. And of course, homosexuals are neither.

The following list suggests some possible cultural repercussions if DADT is repealed:

* The traditional definition and understanding of marriage would be outlawed and the underlying concept of marriage would be redefined, * Clergy and people of conscience would be fined and imprisoned for teaching and promoting their faith, * Americans would lose their First Amendment protections due to anti-discrimination and equal opportunity laws, * Churches would be forced to incorporate revisionist theology when teaching about homosexuality, * Pro-homosexual courses and materials would be mandated for kindergarten, * Teachers would be forced to advance the genetically determined “once gay, always gay” propaganda, * Public school students would be taught that sexual orientation is fluid, not fixed, and encouraged to explore their sexuality, and * Employers and employees would be forced to offer or attend “diversity training” and “sexual-orientation” courses.

Repeal of the military’s DADT policy will transform America from a family-oriented society of sisters and brothers and parents and children, into a hedonist society of aimless predators and alienated prey.

It will be the end of our Armed Forces

People have to refuse to be intimidated by being branded homophobes etc etc and take a stand against this and the indoctrination going on in our schools

A Tea Party movement is needed at this level

The deplorable point of all this is we are going to change f@gs for chaplains.... there are very few religions who accept and promote homosexuality as a way God has made man. The idea that the Morale of the troops will not be affected is a bunch of garbage because, in essence, if a chaplain provides the spiritual victuals for these sodomites, he is in a position to lose his endorsement from his church which means he cannot be a chaplain and therefore the troops lose a friend, confidant, counselor, etc etc. SO this whole “morale won’t suffer” bit is really starting to show itself for what it is... A bold faced lie!

All you have to do is look at your local media outlets for the clearest example of how this works.

You do not need to worry about the moral decay of America. If DADT is repealed, there will be mass exodus in the military. The vast majority of men willing to put his life at risk for God and Country, will not serve in a homosexual military. The military will wither, the Islamists will take over, and the liberal will be taken to the gates of the city and stoned to death.

My only son-brought a “friend” here who it seems is HIV pos. and who has some problem controlling his BM. Both I believe
are a reward for the lifestyle he chose. Imagine a Military-thanks to our current Congress governed by those who believe
we must allow homosexuals serve openly in the Military.Must require Military Medicine to change to accommodate those medical problems (drug abuse, STD, Depressive Illness and related problems including suicide.HIV/AIDS)all must now be accepted?

Those (straight) young men driven out of the military will look for other pursuits. Look for those things to be marginalized as well.
