Fox News pays Sarah Palin as a contributor to their network. And apparently to be fair and balanced, they also pay Judith Miller and Liz Trotta to make fun of Sarah Palin:
UPDATE: Heres what was said:
LIZ TROTTA: Alessandra Stanley [of the New York Times] had the best line [in her Nov. 11 review]. She said the new [Palin TLC] show was like The Sound of Music without the Nazis, without the romance and without the music.
JUDITH MILLER (laughing): Oh, the Washington Post hated it, too . . . [Post TV critic Hank Steuver] said [Palin has] the kind of sound of a voice when warning you to heed the bears it would actually scare the bears. . . . He said you just get the sense that all shes waiting for when shes looking at this great outdoors is to get back to her SUV for enough bars to send out her latest twitter about the beauty of the environment.
OK, thats what was said during the commercial break. Heres what was said when the show came back on the air:
SCOTT: She has gotten a lot of heat for that new show. Some lefty groups, Ellis, are pushing Discovery Communications to pull the plug. How about at that for freedom of speech?
[ELLIS] HENICAN: Strategic misstep on the part of the lefty groups, as you mentioned. Let the woman talk. Believe me, the more she talks, the better off they are.
(LAUGHTER)
[JON] SCOTT: Interesting that some of these folks who dont like her I mean, she puts eyeballs in front of television sets, right?
MILLER: Yeah, and she got a network to pay her a million dollars per episode to do this. But I found the most interesting review to come from Karl Rove, who is not exactly a left wing lunatic, who said this is not going to advance her presidential prospects. This doesnt make her look presidential. Id listen to Karl.
TROTTA: And the numbers keep going down every time she makes appearance, her popularity numbers. You have to keep track of those. The more you see her, the less you like her. And overexposure is something the Democrats have to pray for.
SCOTT: So you think that
TROTTA: Plus the fact that they can bank on the timidity of most men, who are so absolutely spooked by feminism that theyre afraid to criticize her.
HENICAN: Give her something on the Cartoon Network
I'd volunteer in a flash! (plus, a little extra range time never hurts :D)
We dont allow their kind here.
:) I bet 2 mins is more than enough for you and I have your back.
What I don’t understand is why dems/Libs have to be so nasty, all of them from that POS 0dumbo and his evil mate Manchelle down.
What did America ever do to all of them?
I truly have not seen this level of mean vile nastiness.
I couldn’t be happier that real Americans see through them
The people you see in this video clip are, in essence, actors. They are working off a script while things are being broadcast or taped. It is when there are breaks that you get a chance to see what they are really like. Many times these folks are nothing like what they appear to be on camera.
The best people on TV and radio are those that are being themselves. Those that think for themselves and speak for themselves. This is why Ronald Reagan was so successful. This is why Rush Limbaugh is so successful. And also why Sarah Palin is so well received. The camera never blinks and after a period of time you can see what the person is about.
Obama is horrid on TV without a script. They say how smart he is but the man can't think on his feet. He just does not have the skill. Others, like Bill Maher show their true colors. As does Chris Matthews. There is a reason they are not watched much. Most people just don't like them.
The people in the Fox video clip are typical of some of the "B" list people on TV. They just don't have "it" but they can fake it good enough to be on TV. They do OK if they can read the script and play their part. These types HATE anyone on the "A" list. So it is no surprise that with all the success that Palin is now having that they joke about her. It is human nature or in this case the nature of TV "personalities". These marginal folks can't help to tear Palin down. That is the only way they can come close to being where she is they think. By bringing her down to their level in their own little brains.
The funny thing is that as these folks were all sitting there during their little break if Palin walked on to the set they would all be kissing her butt. Doing anything to get her attention. Then after she left they would be right back to trashing her. Small minds.
LOL. I would much prefer, "direct and honest" or just "honest" and we wouldn't need to balance it with the Left.
Yes, Jon Scott is a sort-of surprise. I’ll tell you another one to watch and listen to closely; Bill Hemmer. I have recently noticed that EVERYTIME the subject of an article they are covering pertains to anything that remotely indicates a victory or something good for Republicans or the conservative right. He always manages to deprecate it in some fashion, either with a sneer or a knowing patronizing smile or some kind of remark.
Interesting how it was the women who were very catty about the Palin show while the mean merely sat there and smiled a bit. Once the woman in blue (didn’t get her name ... didn’t think it was worth the effort) realized that the men weren’t playing along she got serious again. I find it very telling that it has been women who are leading the nasty attacks on Palin. I’m thinking jealousy is behind it.
All these maggots will learn that they mess with us at their peril.

Look at his happy face in this photo and more can be viewed by clicking the photo.
From some one that watched it:
This morning I was watching Fox News Live, and they had guest Liz Trotta on dissecting Palins debate. At the very end of her comments she made this comment.Vicious hatred and obviously thinks children that are not "perfect" are are no more valuable than any thing she calls "it", her clipped toenail for instance. One other note:the image of dragging that handicapped infant around and having IT on stage has caused consternation in some quarters as to how tasteful this is
I was completely DISGUSTED with her comment! She claims she was just trying to show what others were saying, but to me it sure looked like she shared the opinion. Palin cant win. If she doesnt have her kids with her, shes being a bad mother, and if she has them onstage she gets criticized too. But what really bothered me was calling that precious baby IT. Of course liberals would have just aborted IT
She should be taken off of the air as she isn't ready to be seen by polite society.
Looking back at some of the books that my youngest sister (still 8 years my senior) gave me for Christmas and birthdays, it seems as though she was trying to groom me as a leader. Too bad I have such a bad taste for people in leadership positions - they always seem to be so ridiculously out of touch. The great Jackass Fallacy was another book she gave me shortly after Bobby Jack... Apparently Bobby Jack used Napoleon’s guide to help him lead as well (something I didn’t remember about the book). It’s only been 25 years or so since I read it though.
I know I enjoyed the book when I was young and I really disliked reading because I always seemed to get so much assigned to me in school.
Woo-hoo! You're the best! Thanks, (((Madame Dufarge)))

We’re GOOD at making calls, but oh how I’d love to hear your call! LOL.
Dear Sarah: I know you don’t need to be reminded of this, but - these people are not your friends.
Wow - a bunch of elitist reporters are making fun of the little people?
Who would have thunk that?
Scott didn’t say anything bad about her.
SCOTT: She has gotten a lot of heat for that new show. Some lefty groups, Ellis, are pushing Discovery Communications to pull the plug. How about at that for freedom of speech?
He is criticizing the Left, not Palin.
295 million people didn’t see it so you failed to make a point. If you think it was a good show just say so. I will continue to think it is crappy.
Send an email to newsmanager@foxnews.com and include a link to the video. That's what I did.
