On December 14, Army officer LTC Terry Lakin will be appearing in a courtroom at Fort Meade, Maryland- for the court-martial he invited by disobeying military orders in pursuit of the truth about Obama's Constitutional eligibility under Article II, Section 1, requiring the President and Commander-in-Chief be a "natural born" citizen. LTC Lakin tried many times, without success, through his chains of command, to seek an answer to his nagging question- is Barack Obama legally, Constitutionally eligible, to serve as head of the U.S. Armed Forces?
With Congress back for the "lame duck" session we are urging Terry's advocates to make calls to Capitol Hill- and to newly elected Members of Congress- during the week of Nov 15-19 to urge them to speak up for LTC Lakin and to provide feedback on the response to those calls. Remember that the U.S. Congress works for you- and that Members have a certain obligation to respond to constituent inquiries- but please be polite and respectful in advancing your point of view.

Given that LTC Lakin’s new civilian attorney has said that Obama’s eligibility status will not be a part of the defense and that he agrees with the judge’s decision to exclude it, you have to wonder what this group is up to. They clearly are not working in LTC Lakin’s behalf, but pursuing their own agenda. I guess that they want to use Lakin for one more plea for donations that they will put into their own pockets.
I am reminded in this reply of the contrast between Charley
Wrangel who reminds America of his years in public service yet he simply walks out of a congressional investigation claiming he can’t afford to defend himself—and needs a court
appointed public defender (of his choosing no doubt) trying one last time -before the next last time to get his Democratic Buddies to offer him what they did Taco Bill Run for the border Clinton -contrasted with Col Lakin who did not walk out on his Court-Martial but was threatoned with being Tazed and thrown in the back of the van -anyway.
His defense previously has wanted to milk the birther angle for all it was worth as far as publicity and money. His new defense seems to be working on LTC Lakin’s behalf and attempting to minimize the damage he did to his life.
I think that you and I agree. I was referring to this Saveourconstitution.com outfit, whoever they are. They seem to still be trying to use Lakin for their own purpose.
Absolutely. I saw that as well. Contribute to US they say, where is the link to contribute to his defense? Not as prominent if there at all.
What role does Congress play in a military court martial? What, exactly, do you want the congresscritters to do?
They could, of course, launch their own investigation into Barry’s eligibility, but I don’t recommend holding your breath. And they have nothing to do, that I know of, with Lakin’s trial.

The only way that'll happen is by cutting a deal with the prosecution. If this goes to trial, Lakin's going away for a while.

One of McCain’s main suckups-—former FL Senator Mel Martinez who left in mid-term-—explained to me in an email that Obozo was eligible because “the voters vetted him during the election,” which in its details sounded suspiciously similar to jury nullification.
So, to hear Mel tell it, OJ was the beneficiary of jury nullification; Zer0 the beneficiary of “voter nullification.”
If that senator felt comfortable with that lame answer, you can expect something similar from his former running buddy McCain who, as we can all vividly remember, assured us that 0 was “a good family man” and not “an Arab” as a voter at a townhall insisted he was.
