The elites don't have a playbook to use against her. Everything they've tried has only made her stronger and more popular with the GOP base, Tea Partiers, conservative Independents, Reagan Democrats, pro-lifers and many others.

The show was a mistake. Sticking her in a tent with a blubbering Kate Gosslin doesn’t make her look like a serious and substantial leader. Given that most undecided voters are suspicious about her anyway it wasn’t the smartest move and played into the notion that she is just striking while the iron is hot and making as much money as possible while her fame lasts. Personally I think she never holds elected office again and ends up an afterthought.

It’s his worst nightmare. Palin is the only candidate who has called Obama on his mistakes (and there are many). She is the only one who will tell him to his face that he is destroying the country. If you think Romney or Huckabee or Daniels will tell him, you’re dreaming. Newt might tell him, then revise his comments later. If you want a candidate who will run an unconventional campaign, sans handlers, who will make Obama responsible for his incompetent regime just like a Mom makes a little boy responsible for his misdeeds, Palin is your candidate. If you want a nuanced campaign about the differences between Obamacare and Romneycare, Romney’s the man.
