I disagree on that one. Anyone who thinks about the implications of a POTUS being truly ineligible comes to that conclusion. Its a really big steaming manure pile from every way you look at it. But I think for the first time, we have heard from someone inside the power circle admit that if it were indeed true, then yea, its a really big freaking deal. So far they have discounted it or ignored it because it has been successfully labeled “crazy”. As the insider said, they do that because it works.
If they looked at what lay behind the mockery, they get real quick that it isn’t a laughing matter. At all.
I think Polarik muddied the waters and totally made it impossible to even look at evidence in a credible fashion. He focused everyone on pixels and other bullsh*t. All we had to do was to realize, Obama was adopted, that changes his birth documents with the state of Hawaii as a part of the legal Adoption proceedings. It changes its status to “Amended”. Obama then had Indonesian citizenship, and in the process of removing Soetoro from his birth documents when the adoption was reversed, it reverted his documents to what they were BEFORE the adoption, sort of erasing that Indonesian citizenship.
So then Barry had Indonesian papers, AND Hawaiian papers. What do you want to bet he used both when and where it suited him??
Anyway, Polarik got people focused on irrelevant crap, because NO ONE can tell a damned thing about the original document in a photo, with only the photo. You MUST have the original document to say anything about it.
The fact that the Factcheck COLB does NOT include the word “Amended” anywhere on it, means what is at factcheck is NOT Barry’s real document. That’s all anyone had to do in looking at the damned thing.
So Polarik can go teach his grandma how to suck eggs.
He had to tout his Blackness. The question at the time in the black community was “is he black enough” because his mother is white, he is a mulatto, not black from their perspective, and wasn’t raised in their culture. So no, he wasn’t black enough, so he had to make himself out to be black enough.

Probably. The Democrats are trying to exclude the top bracket cuts. Make the issue about the Republicans wanting to protect the rich. That’s from a very old playbook, right?
The Republicans are aware of that trap, and will work to give a blanket extension for all tax payers. In the end you will see the lower brackets given the permanent extension and the upper brackets given a temporary extension – say two years.

They will be able to once again say how the Republicans want to give tax cuts to the rich. It’s a simple trap – but the Republicans are stupid enough to fall for it.

Look for the Republicans to make the same mistake the Democrats did after 2008 – thinking the American people are on their side.
No – the American people despise both parties.
Well, now that Republicans won back the House in 2010, they can once again be painted as the party for the rich, for the bankers, for big business, etc. With a Republican Speaker, it will make that task much easier for us.
Losing the House has made me far more hopeful that Democrats can do well – or at least much better, in 2012. There will be a lot of bumps along the way, but our chances have greatly improved.

Are you aware that the Hawaii Department of Health has confirmed in two different ways that the Factcheck COLB Obama posted was actually a forgery?
Are you aware that they have made a statutory admission that Obama’s real birth certificate is amended and thus not legally valid?
Are you aware that the HDOH has confirmed that nobody from the Democratic National Committee nor the Hawaii Democratic Party has either asked to see the BC or asked for a verification of his birth facts?
Are you aware that Nancy Pelosi signed a dfferent certification of nomination for Hawaii because the Hawaii Democratic Party refused to certify Obama’s eligibility? In fact, in their eagerness to get rid of the statement about Constitutional eligibility they deleted a whole line - including the only part they were legally required to include?
Are you aware that Alex Galovich of the Passport Office as well as Bowen, the attorney representing the Department of State, appear to have perjured themselves by submitting to a judge a forged “cable” claiming that millions of passport applications were destroyed (including Obama’s mother’s, they suggest) even though all the evidence we can find suggests the opposite and the legally-required paper trail for that destruction doesn’t exist?

An adoption actually wouldn’t show up as an amendment. When somebody is adopted they have a new long-form birth certificate made up with everything the same except the name of the parents and the last name of the child. Then the original birth certificate is sealed, only to be opened by a court order. Hawaii allows unadoption, and if a person is unadopted they just switch so the original BC is available and the supplemental (adoptive) BC is sealed.
The HDOH has confirmed that Obama’s BC has been amended so there is something that was changed even after any adoption and/or unadoption. And because the HDOH has also said there was a fee charged to Obama for that amendment it rules out an amendment that was needed through no fault of Obama. IOW, the amendment was not a typo or something small. It was something substantial.
And as you noted, such an amendment has to be noted on any birth certificate (either long-form or abbreviated - COLB) the HDOH prints out for Obama. Particularly because that amendment means that the BC is not legally valid as prima facie evidence.
The Factcheck COLB doesn’t note the amendment so it is known to be a forgery. It’s also known as a forgery because the certificate number was given by the HDOH 3 days earlier than the Nordyke twins’ BC’s were numbered and yet has a BC# later than theirs - a discrepancy showing that either the BC#, the “date filed”, or both are forged.
Just wanted to clarify the situation with the adoption. What the HDOH has confirmed is even above and beyond any complications from an adoption. If the HDOH has been accurate in its responses, the amendment was made sometime in 2006 (right when Obama was deciding whether to run for president).
And it is DEFINITELY frustrating that nobody will touch this. I know you’ve got first-hand experience with the frustration. But we’re making progress. =)

The character, real or not, is so full of himself, it might be Carville... which would still make it the fiction category with some non-fiction thrown in.
